So, I'll skip to the current posting I'm in now. I don't have much time to write about the previous ones.
Since the last posting, I've done 16 weeks of clinical postings and 10 weeks of laboratory (block) postings.
Of the 16 weeks of clinical posting, I spent the first 4 weeks in cardiothoracic surgery, another 4 weeks in pediatric surgery, and the last 8 weeks in the cardiology unit.
The laboratory posting still included the usual - Pharmacology, Histopathology, Chemical Pathology, Haematology, and Microbiology.Currently, we're doing community medicine posting. It will last for 4 weeks, and today is the beginning of the third week.
In the first week, we did urban posting. We went to the Sokoto State Water Board office, Sokoto Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) office, UDUTH dumpsite and sewage treatment plants, and Sokoto Municipal Abattoir.
In the second week, we began rural posting, and our posting is in a village in Wamakko Local Government. In these last 2 weeks, I'll try to write a journal daily about my experiences.
