Forbidden Love story

Truth is out

They lay in bed legs intwined, they had never been this happy before. 

"You sure you want to marry me?" Alex said 

"If I didnt then I wouldn't have asked would I?" Henry said 

"I guess not....I'm just..like when we eventually go back and the press sees rings on our fingers what are we gonna say?" Alex said 

"We will cross that bridge when we get to it...lets just...be us and enjoy this moment" Henry said 

"Okay" Alex said and kissed Henry. Alex was happy but he wasnt happy as all he wanted to do was be with Henry and Herny wanted to be with him, he loved him but he knew he couldnt be with him...not in the public eye at least. 

Alex was in the shower and Henry looked down at his ring....his engadment ring and smiled but...he knew that if the world found out the truth about him and Alex it would cost him everything and Alex nothing. 

Alex came out of the shower and smiled at Henry. 

"You okay my love?" Alex asked 

Henry nodded. 

"We best get back dont you think?" Henry said 

"If you want...I guess" Alex said 

Alex and Henry left, the car journey was silent the whole way back. They envutally arrived back home. 

Henry went up to his room and stayed there. 

Alex came into my room  and gave me a hug. 

"Welcome home, how was it?" I asked 

"It was good....Henry asked me to marry him" Alex said 

"Thats...amazing?" I said 

"No...it is but..Henry has been quite this whole time...so...I dont know" Alex said 

"But" I said 

"I'm confused" Alex said 

"About" I asked 

"Me and him....I love him but I'm sure he loves me....I mean he....I dont know" Alex said and left. 

It was the middle of the night and Herny left to go back to England and didnt say goodbye, he knew he couldn't stay any longer, he was getting far too close to Alex, he didn't want to break his heart which is why he had to leave but he knew he already had broken his heart. 

He sneaked into Alex's room, looked at him, gave him a kiss on his head and left with tears in his eyes. 

Alex woke up first he wanted to speak to Henry but Issac told him he left, Alex was heartbroken, he was angry. 

Alex tried calling but no awnser.

Henry was with his sister in the garden, they were walking around the flower garden. 

"What happend?" Bea asked 

"Well....I ended things with him after I asked him to marry me" Henry said. 

"Did Grampa...find out?" Bea asked 

"No but I found myself getting too close.....I asked me to marry me.....I didnt want to break his heart which I have done" Henry said 

"Well cheer up.....at least you'll never be king" Bea said
