Spring

Winter turns to spring, snow to dew,
Skies turn from dull white to vivid blue.
Cloud speckled skies and star speckled nights painting our great canvas.

Little sparrows give song to the air, fragile beautiful prayers.
Wind in their wings and chorus in their throats, enough of a breeze to keep them afloat.

Foxes come out from hiding, ready for its wooden fence climbing.
Sunset fur and hardened stare, yips let out beyond a face so callous.

The sun finally peaks out of of the clouds, a flower bud sprouts.
Soon the earth is covered in countless brilliant colours, all prepare for bright summers
