A red alarm sounded as the castle's calm ambiance turned into a frightening frenzy of red everywhere.

Anna," What does that mean Sebastian?! What is going on, it does not sound any good, Why is that alarm going off?"

Sebastian knew exactly what that meant, he looked at her with panic. He grabbed her hand tightly and withdrew his sword, taking her off the ledge as fast as he could.

Sebastian," Someone has trespassed into the castle walls, that alarm means danger and right now we have to get you to safety. You're this kingdom's only hope. "

This only made her even more frightened at what would happen, all she could depend on right now was her training and abilities...

As they moved throughout the castle, they kept themselves concealed by the walls they passed by. Often turning their heads down as they passed those trying to save themselves from whatever havoc was trying to make their way inside the castle and towards her. Sebastian did his best as he led her to the armory where she gathered her sword and although she had a dress on, thank goodness for the shorts she had underneath she thought. She felt slightly nervous as she saw soldiers and knights gather their materials to fight whatever battle is coming. Sebastian noticed her nervous composure as the soldiers and knights began to place on their chainmail, swords, daggers, and shields.

Anna to herself, "How are they so calm?" Anna thought to herself, her hands trembling slightly as she strapped a dagger to her thigh. The knights moved with purpose, as though they were already prepared for battle. Sebastian turned towards her placing his hand under her chin lifting it to face him. Anna looked at his face, eye to eye, her heart racing as the weight of the moment settled around them, his gaze intense.

Sebastian, "I can tell you're nervous, love. But I need you to know this—no matter what happens beyond those walls, I will be right beside you. Through every battle, every moment of fear, you will never have to face it alone. We will save our kingdom, together and do it with integrity and honor. Don't doubt for a second that you're not as prepared as you think because you are, my Annabeth."

He kissed her forehead softly, his lips lingering for a brief moment, before pulling her into a tight embrace. His arms wrapped around her, offering comfort amidst the uncertainty, and for a fleeting second, the world outside the castle walls seemed to disappear.

A deafening BOOM! echoed through the castle, followed by the  sound of crumbling rubble  crashing to the ground. The floor beneath them shook, followed by a  cloud of dust and smoke as the air seemed to hum with the energy of the destruction.

Sebastian pulled back, his eyes immediately searching Anna's face for any sign of fear. But instead, he found determination—hers and his, shared in the intensity of that moment. Both finished up collecting their weapons, Anna had her sword at her hip and Sebastian with his armor, shield and sword at his hip. Getting closer to him she took her hands and placed them gently on his shoulders as she ran her hands along them, a translucent yet gold shield of light protruded from it.

Anna, "Just in case" she said and gave him a gentle peck on the cheek  with a smile as he looked at her once again.

Just then a soldier came towards them, He had a slight familiar figure to him, Noticing it was Max with armor she further calmed down ,

Max, "We have to get you somewhere safe. The soldiers are holding up outside. Your family will meet us at a safe house in the mean time."

Sebastian, " Lets go, you're our top priority right now, Stay close to me." As they made way to a specific hidden door that only Max could access by summoning a key with colored gears. He waved his hand intricately in a series of patterns unique to him and once open, they went through the door as they shut it close behind them, making their way inside. Max led them through a narrow, winding passage, the only light coming from faintly glowing blue creatures clinging to the walls like tiny gems. The air was thick, cool, and smelled faintly of fresh grass. With every step, Anna could feel the weight of uncertainty pressing down on them, but the strange beauty of the tunnel offered some small comfort, even if it didn't erase the fear building in her chest...
