—At the ocean of Optimistic Waves—

Shadow (the boy, but he's not a boy, he's an elf) woke up to find himself in a piggyback ride position on a mysterious girl that seemed to be running on water at amazing speed, even for an elf, and with Shadow on her back, as if he wasn't even there. And she seemed to be like, controlling the water and air all around them so it wouldn't splashed them! ~How is she doing this? Is she an elf that has the abilities of a Hydrokinetic? Having an elemental ability is rare, though surely I would have recognized her, but I haven't seen her face yet, so I can't make any assumptions~Shadow thought and he closed his eyes and when he opens them again he notices the Mysterious Girl was putting him down gently at a patch of moss and soft grass near a rock. Then a dragon came out of nowhere, then somehow, the moment her talon, or foot or whatever it's called, was on the ground, her form shift from a dragon to human or elf. Shadow couldn't even understand how that was possible, but it happened right in front of him! After that happened, the mysterious girl and dragon girl started talking, but Shadow was too shocked by what he saw to pay attention, and even if he did pay attention, he wouldn't have understand what they were saying. Shadow knew they were talking, but it seemed to be in another language or code or something. So after a few minutes Shadow pretends to stir a bit and then both girls flinch, freeze, and stoped talking. But then Shadow stayed still again and then the Mysterious Girl goes "Whew, that was close, a little too close." in a language Shadow could understand. The Mysterious Girl voice's was like Shadow's mother's (Sophie Foster Vacker), soft and warm, liked wrapping yourself up into the softest, warmest blanket ever, but it also had a feel that made you not want to mess or cross her. Like she's a leader or something. But it was also shy. And the next thing the Mysterious Girl did blew Shadow's mind—

—the Mysterious Girl went up to a rock wall, like she knew something was there, then she looked left then right, then to the Dragon Girl, who nodded, and then to Shadow. Shadow pretended to just be asleep and thought about darkness, it looked like it convinced her, then she turned back to the rock wall and then, some kind of sea flower grew out of 1 of the ledges, then the Mysterious Girl tapped the sea flower, well, more like she booped it, cause she said "Boop!", and then a secret passage way open up then she used that amazing strength of her's, and then gently picks Shadow up, and then she carries him bridal style, and then the Dragon Girl snickered for some reason, said something to the Mysterious Girl, gave her a thumbs up, then turned back into Dragon Girl, then flew away. And while she did that, Shadow was quite sure that he was blushing so red it was a little hard understand why they weren't noticing it, Shadow opened his right eye just a crack to get a glimpse of the Mysterious Girl's face, but it was nothing but a blur, and then Shadow saw 2 necklaces on the her neck. He recognized 1 of them but he couldn't recognized the other, the 1 he recognized was an addler—a gadget that was created to hide or blur the wearer's face, it was very popular during the Human Association—and the necklace he didn't recognize had teardrop shaped black jewel, hanging on a dark midnight blue velvet collar, and when the light hit the jewel, it turned a light midnight blue. And then Shadow closed his eyes, he could tell they were moving, and by the time Shadow open his eyes again, he was in a place kind of like the Healing Center in Foxfire, but a bit different, and then he saw the Mysterious Girl coming in alone, so Shadow closed his eyes quickly. Shadow had to listen for the girl's footsteps, they were almost as quiet as a mouse, but he could still hear her.

Pit. Pat. Pit. Pat.

And when she came to his side, Shadow opened his eyes slowly and pretended to be confused. And Shadow as a reward for his performance, Shadow got to see what the Mysterious Girl's face looked like. She had pale (tan-ish) skin and a bit of freckles on her cheeks and her nose. The Mysterious Girl's hair midnight blackish blue with a little streak of silver on her hair.

(Lunar and Shadow's POV) And then weakly Shadow said "What happened? Where am I?" Shadow's voice was normal to him, but to Lunar, Shadow's voice was weird, crispy somehow. ~Wow...she's beautiful~ Shadow thought.

Lunar blushed, since she was reading Shadow's thoughts. "Umm that's kinda hard to explain. Do you remember anything about what happened?".

"No, I can't remember anything. And I've got 3 questions. Number 1: Where are we? 2: How long was I out? And 3rd, who the cat are you?" Shadow asked.

"Sorry, that I can't tell you that, but I wish I could, and I think you were out......maybe......2 or 3 hours. I was planning on shooting you with a tranquilizer dart, and my name is—" Lunar said, but was interrupted by Shadow.

"2 or 3 hours?!? And you were planning to shoot me a tranquilizer dart?!?" Shadow exclaimed, and Lunar nodded.

"Don't worry, it doesn't hurt, but I was planning to do it so that you could get some rest, and I mean real rest, not knock outs because you lost so much blood. Your body can't even help you stand! Don't believe me, try to stand up." Lunar seemed to be a bit curious, so Shadow tried to, but then he wobbled and then came tumbling down onto his bed/cot or whatever it was. And then Lunar turned to leave.

"Wait!" Shadow shouted and Lunar turned to look at him, shocked. Shadow closed his eyes and covered his mouth, but within a few minutes he opened his eyes, which were a mix brown with gold flecks and shimmery teal. Lunar's eyes were dark emerald green and she had sliver teardrops next to her eyes that looked like they were about to fall, they were pretty in a way, and if Shadow was imagining it, her eyes were black where there should have been white (except for the pupils). And then Shadow uncovered his mouth.

Lunar had move closer to him when his eyes were closed, so close they were only a foot apart. "Wow, you're even more beautiful up close." Shadow said dreamily. That made both of their faces feel hotter than Marella's flames. And then they both turned away, not looking at each other. But Lunar was smiling as she turned her head away, while Shadow said "What I meant was...," And then finally cleared his throat several times, then said "uh...what's your name?" ~Oh, 3 moons, I couldn't have sound stupider if I tried~ Shadow thought. Luna and Shadow were still blushing after Shadow's big slip.

"My name is Lunar. But you can call me Luna, if you want." Lunar said softly and smiled, then turned to leave. But before she disappeared, she told Shadow, "And you're pretty cute too. And no, you couldn't have sounded stupider if you tried." And then she winked at Shadow, who was blushing and wondering, ~How did she know what I was thinking?~ and Shadow could still feel that his face was blushing like crazy, especially when he thought about what Lunar had said!
