THE NEON THEMED ROOM is where they lead Cierra to do her little introduction for the show. While she fixed her hair and straightened out her dress, a crew member came to check her mic.
Looking over her shoulder at him she playfully said. "Rate this outfit."
"Ten out ten." The man didn't hesitate to match her energy. "Broke the scale."
"Are you flirting with me?" She jokes sharing a laugh with him.
It wasn't long before she was asked to take a seat front and center. Sitting up straight, Cierra made sure to fix her posture and cross her legs neatly.
Once the camera man nodded she tilted her head with a charming smile. "Welcome to love island, bitches."
"My name is Cierra, I'm a twenty three year young," She gave the camera a wink as she continued. "Blasian baddie from New York and I'm a painter."
"I'm sure you can hear my accent poking out but that doesn't mean I'm gonna get sturdy and start rapping."
If she had a dollar for every time someone has misconstrued her just based off hearing where she's from, she wouldn't be on Love Island she would be in her million dollar home drinking a mimosa.
Laughing at her own joke she continues. "I'm an ambivert. I love to socialize but I mainly value my alone time. That's why painting is the perfect job for me. I'm really good at it, nobody tells me what to do, and contrary to what everyone thinks, it is a stable job. Most importantly, I love it."
"Back at home people call me an ice queen cause of my high standards and expectations. If someone doesn't meet them then I cut them off." With a shrug of her shoulders she bluntly explains. "I don't have the time or energy to waste."
The next question is what was her type so she went on to answer. "I love, love, love my black kings. The NewYorker in me will always go weak in the knees for dread heads but I'm kind of craving some pasta and lobster, you know I'm sayin."
"For real though, I don't have one certain type. I think everyone's beautiful so it's really personality that attracts me."
"Why did you come on love island?" The interviewer asks. "What are you hoping to get out of it?"
"I'm definitely looking to find someone for life." She states surely. "Coming to love island is my last hope at love."
Cackling at her theatrics she gives the camera a pleading look. "I know it sounds dramatic but I've tried dating, it doesn't end well for me..."
"Like ever." She widens her eyes seriously. "I think my high expectations are the reason I've been in so few relationship's and many, many, many situantionships."
"So being here, I hope to change my ways of my past and be more open minded in the future. I'm gonna try to let go of those standards and hopefully find the Lucious to my Cookie."
The dirty double meaning behind it made her giggle. "If you know you know."
