hey guys, so basically me and tato just made a new au this morning BASED ON A DREAM SHE HAD-
so uh yeah!
slight tw: mentions of sh, suicide, murder, blood, allat shit
so basically there's these two main characters, who live in a happy yet secretly gloomy town of unhappy and suicidal(?) people. The people are like somewhat abstract and mainly consist of one color.
The two main characters are Rubee and Bloo (probably pronounced like Ruby and Blue).
The au is like a tv show that seems like it's aimed for children but actually for adults, for example the style is cartoony and bright colors and happy themes, but the actual show is more deep and shows more a serious and eerie reality than it seems. Again, the show revolves around the two main characters, Rubee and Bloo. They are both oblivious to what is actually happening (ex: murder, suicide, sh, ed, arson, mental health problems, etc.) and kind of just look on the bright side of life. It's not that they choose to ignore it, it's that they genuinely don't notice. They are just kids after all...
Rubee is known to frequently break the fourth wall. She'll make comments to the viewers similar to " i see you " or " where are you going? ". Bloo is just confused when Rubee does this, as Bloo doesn't have the capabilities of seeing the " outside world ".
You remember how I said the townsfolk just mainly consist of one color? Bloo is .. blue, and Rubee is red.
Potato vividly remembers in her dream that there was two purple background characters that would slowly fall in love with eachother as the show progresses, leading to during one of the episodes, one of them proposing to the other. Then a large tree would fall ontop of them, killing them on the spot, with visual blood pooling out from under the tree. The ring would then roll over towards Rubee and she would then give the ring to Bloo.

Yes, Rubee does have horns for some reason. (Like actually idk why)
There is more art but potato asked me not to share it yet, probably due to the heavy amount of lore included in them.
That's really all we have so far, but that's kinda a lot for less than a day. I hope you guys enjoyed this and if so I might post more lore/info about this au :3
