The next night I was so excited to see my former members perform for the first time without them by my side. I knew they'd do great despite all the nerves that have built up to this moment. Tonight there were main artists on stage which included Aespa, Itzy, Enhypen, BOYNEXTDOOR, Xikers, and finally LoverBoyz and Meshi. I found my seat and sat down as I waited. I went alone so I could fully focus on their performance. I was so proud of everything they had gone through even if it wasn't easy.

As the stage opened, Aespa took their place as the opening song of the night with their latest song 'Armageddon.' The lights dimmed as the show started. I cheered from start to finish as Itzy came on stage with 'UNTOUCHABLE' and the line up went onto Enhypen with 'Sweet Venom,' BOYNEXTDOOR with 'Earth, Wind, and Fire,' Xikers with 'Tricky House,' and finally it was time for the last remaining groups. I stood up from my seat and screamed as Taehyun walked out on stage with his new members. A boy group with 7 members and Taehyun was one of the youngest. Taehyun spotted me as he waved before getting into position. I made a huge heart with my arms over my head before waving back and then the music started. He was born to be an idol. Taehyun had always had that stage aura. Even when he auditioned, he treated it as if he was up on stage. His expressions were always amazing and he knew how to set the mood for any song. He was a great songwriter and an amazing choreographer.

After the song had ended, he knew how to end it perfectly with his ending fairy. A smile with a half heart held up against his cheek as everyone screamed. I cheered for all of his members. This was his beginning. Although we had already begun, his journey had been on pause for a long time because of me. And now I got to watch him flourish into the idol he was meant to be. It was refreshing and it made me proud.

It was time for Meshi to take their positions on stage. I was just so happy to see that Gigi and Jena were able to debut together. Gigi made Jena soft and Jena kept Gigi grounded. They needed each other more than they would ever know. As Jena took her position, she was amazing at giving a presence. She was center as she lead everyone into the dance. Jena was a talented artist. Her vocals were out of this world and she knew exactly how to keep her composure. Idols are always supposed to put up an act and Jena was good at not letting things get to her. Deep down she was soft, but she never let anyone see. Her fans saw her as cool and mature but she was really just calm and collected, still a kid at heart. She only ever opened up with Gigi.

I panned over to Gigi who was now in position as she took on her role as lead rapper. Something I had felt that I had stolen from her. Her flow was amazing and her pronunciation was clear on every word. Even when the rap was fast, you understood exactly what she was saying. I always felt like I had stolen her spotlight. She is good at what she does and she can write songs like none other. Production was always her thing in the studio. If any of us needed ideas, Gigi always had one in mind. She was meant for this, this was who she was.

As the song started, they both spotted me and waved before getting into position. The song was amazing and it was no shock that Gigi had produced the song. She just had a talent for it. As the end of the song hit Jena belted out the bridge which was beautiful. Until finally the lights dimmed and everyone clapped. I stood up from my seat once again to scream and cheer as they walked off stage. I followed them back only for Taehyun to run up to me.

"Hyung!" He hugged me. "Thank you for being here."

"Of course, I wouldn't miss it." I smiled as Gigi and Jena came out, forcing us all into a group hug. "You guys were amazing out there."

"I didn't think you'd be here." Jena said. "Aren't you busy?"

"I had some time." I reassured. "Busy schedule but never too busy for you guys."

"Would you two like to grab dinner with us?" Gigi asked me and Taehyun. We both nodded in agreement as we headed to a restaurant that was nearby.

When we got in, the night seemed to have lasted forever. We spent the hours catching up on each other. Just to make sure everyone was doing well. "How are you and Chan?" Gigi was so curious.

"We're really well." I smiled. "He's just so sweet."

"You're blushing!" Jena said as she poked my shoulder. "I heard the song he wrote for you."

"It was so sudden, I was so surprised." I laughed.

"Are you holding up?" Taehyun asked.

"I'm doing fine. It's been an adjustment especially after everything that happened but I have been better."

"Have you heard from Dongyeon anymore?" I paused for a second.

"Nope. As far as I know, he won't be free for a long time. He can't get to me now." I smiled.

"If you ever need anything, let us know. We will always be family even if we aren't members anymore." Jena hugged me.

"Always family." I pulled them all in for an individual hug as I tried to hold back tears. We were no longer in the same group and had now chosen different paths, but we had been through so much together. We would always be family.
