An Enderian in Ninjago

As everyone got settled into their new home Wu helped En find a room making sure he was all good and settled before going to check on the others who were chatting up a storm. It was a small room with one crummy old mattress and sand covering every inch of the floor. He didn't mind though as he had one hell of a day and wanted his body to rest.

As he laid there on the cheap mattress and tried to fall asleep, he couldn't help but feel like he couldn't breath.

After lying there for what seemed to be an hour he annoyingly sat up and placed his injured leg on the wooden ground. Putting some pressure on it he felt it was in less pain than earlier and stood up. 'Thank you Zane for saving leftover apples.' He silently thanked the ninja in his head as he decided to go above deck.

Breathing in the cold night air he felt a little better. He climbed up to the highest part he could get to and lied down looking at the stars. He likes the night sky as much as he likes the sun. Even in the darkness there's light poking holes through the invisible barrier. As he lay there he still had that feeling of not being able to breath but to a much lesser extent to when he was inside. It was strange but he didn't question it as he continued to watch the sky until the dark colors shifted to a lighter blue and yellows. It was an unfortunate sleepless night but he hoped that the next one will be a little bit better.

As the sun peeked over the horizon it wasn't long until a bell-like noise emanated somewhere below deck. Having gotten used to this over the years he sat up and kicked his feet over the edge as he patiently waited.

Looking out over the sand he saw the dragons cuddled together still sleeping. Rocky and Wisp were around Flame to warm themselves from the cold desert night. Shard was still around them but stuck more to the outside to enjoy the cold night before the blistering heat shows itself once more. When it started to become hotter out, Shard was the first one up and very uncomfortable. Moving away from the others the ice dragon spun in a circle using his ice breath on the ground to make a cooler area for himself. It was very clear he wasn't a fan of this place but there wasn't much En could do to help him.

"Ah! There you are." En turned to the voice seeing the old man. "You should be resting." He stated while walking over to him.
"Couldn't sleep. Sooo came out here." He stopped kicking his legs as Wu sat next to him. "Too sandy down there couldn't breathe great."
Wu nodded in understanding "I see. I assigned the ninja to fix up the place. Nya and I are going to go out for some errands. We shouldn't be gone long."

This caused him to worry a bit. This would be the first time he's interacted with them by himself. He wasn't that concerned after he met Nya but she was different. She bought him the glorious gift of apples! She didn't even have to ask him if he wanted anything but she did. When it came to the others though.. he felt like he didn't make that great of an impression. He wasn't that nervous when it came to Cole and Zane but, Kai and Jay? Yeah, no, he'd rather teleport away.

"Sensei! Are you ready?" Nya called out, snapping En back to reality. Wu nodded as he went to join Nya on top of Flame. Before he could though En ran over and stopped him.

"Wait!" He panted a bit too used to teleporting around places. "C-can you take Shard? He isn't that comfortable and... I think leaving this place will do him some good."
Wu looked over to the dragon seeing him breath out an icy mist to cool off his body. He also took note of the already shedded scales around him. "If it is okay with him."

En headed over to his friend who stopped the mist as he approached. Nya and Wu watched as his voice shifted into another language as he talked to the dragon. "He can talk to dragons?"
Wu nodded "From the moment I met him he always had the ability to." Wu couldn't help but sigh as he watched the boy happily talk to his dragon friend.
