Class E had arrived from their trip a few days ago. School returned to normal and (name) was even closer with her classmates than before. After a late night call with Yukiko, she slept around 2am and woke up at 9am.
"(name)!" (name) sat up groggily and rubbed her eyes. She yawned as she stretched her arms and checked her alarm clock. "9AM!? I'm late!" She yelled, running off to her bathroom to do her usual routine.
Once she had dressed up, she rushed downstairs and grabbed her school bag. "See you later!" Her mother bid her goodbye at the door and watched her run to school. (name) thought of running all the way to school, but she figured that she might bump into someone that way. Therefore, she opted to speed walk.
Lost in her thoughts, she remembered what Karma had done for her in Kyoto. 'I should get him something for what he did! Should I bake something?' She looked at the convenience store she passed by. 'Should I get him something from there? Maybe if I'm quick...' She checked her phone screen and saw that it was 9:30. 'Nope. I should definitely run to the train station.'
When she arrived at the train station, she boarded her train and found a seat. She placed her bag on her lap and sighed. Suddenly, someone took the seat next to her. Thinking it was a stranger, she looked out the window, trying to avoid conversation or eye contact.
In the reflection of the window, she saw a cherry-haired boy. A hand poked her cheek, so she turned to look at the culprit. "Karma.." She whined, staring at his smug face. "Look at Miss Goody-Two-Shoes. Late for the first time, I see." Karma watched her face flush in embarrassment before answering him.
"No, I just lost track of time."
"Sure, sleepyhead."
Karma took (name) by her wrist and led her out of the train. "We would've been going to Tokyo if we stayed on." He smirked. "I've never been to Tokyo before!" (name) gasped in excitement. Karma looked lost in thought for a moment. "Tokyo's okay. The best part is the delinquents there! They're actually pretty fun to mess with!"
Karma had a sweet smile on his face while he talked about his past fights. (name) has never seen him look so thrilled to talk about punching someone in the face. Although it was a weird conversion to have, (name) and Karma both enjoyed it.
Before entering the class, Karma and (name) devised a plan. They would crawl into the classroom so that Korosensei wouldn't see them. (name) posed a question, "What if he notices us?" Karma swiftly responded, "Then we're fucked."
Karma, being the sneakier one out of the two, carefully slid the door open, allowing (name) to enter first. She followed the plan and made sure to bend her head so it wouldn't be seen over the desk. She placed her bag underneath her desk and watched Karma close the door.
He gave her a brisk thumbs up, which she happily returned.
