"Mr. Park, your twelve o'clock is here." Hyunjin said through the phone intercom. "He'll be right with you." The secretary said to the waiting client.

"Don't big corporations like this usually have women at the front?" He smiled.

"Am I not pretty enough for you?"

"I wouldn't say that."

"Well, I'm glad you have eyes."

"Hongjoong!" Mr. Park exclaimed with a huge smile. "So nice to see you."

"You as well." The shorter blonde nodded.

"Hyunjoon, don't track this appointment. He's a special client." His boss winked, then walked away.

"It's Hyunjin." The secretary muttered under his breath. "Fucking prick."

He went back to 'work' and looked at the clock every few seconds. Hyunjin truly had the most useless job, but it somehow paid the bills.

Park Investments, Inc. The place where rich assholes get even richer, while the rest of society struggles. Which is why Hyunjin and his best friend made the risky decision to apply, and somehow both managed to get a position.

In Hyunjin's case, they believed he was practically useless in almost every aspect. But he was somehow prettier than every single woman that fought to be the front desk secretary.

Then there was his best friend.

"One of these days, I'm just gonna call him Seonghwa and see what he says. Maybe he'll have me killed. But I'd much rather be viciously murdered than waste another second here." Wooyoung's rants were a frequent occurrence; probably one or two every hour.

"Does he even work?"

"I wipe the fucking cum off his desk more than I move papers, so what do you think?"

"Isn't being a personal assistant so glamorous?" Hyunjin laughed. "Actually, how are you even down here right now?"

"Because I don't care enough."

"I swear, if you get fired, I'll kill you in your sleep."

"You'll live."

"Actually, I won't. Because you're the one who wanted a fancy apartment. I can't pay for that all by myself."

"Settle down, darling. You start to sweat when you're agitated and it's gross."

"Let me go back to work." Hyunjin mumbled, then leaned back in his chair.

"What's your version of work?"

"No!"

Wooyoung gasped, then began to laugh. When he glanced at his best friend's computer, that was the last thing he expected to see.

"Hwang Hyunjin, you're a pervert." He aggressively whispered, finding this all very amusing. "Have you always had access to the security cameras?"

"Do you seriously think I enjoy this? You think I want to see Mr. Park balls deep in every single being and creature he brings in?"

"Creature?" Wooyoung shrieked, taking it too literal. "He fucks animals?"

"No, you idiot. You've seen the ugly freaks he brings in here. It's embarrassing."

"I've done a really great job at tuning it out." Wooyoung immediately sprinted away, leaving Hyunjin in the dust. When the secretary looked at what he saw, his eyes widened. "Mr. Park." He stood up and bowed formally, not expecting to see his boss on the lobby floor.

"Hyunjoon." He acknowledged, still not getting his name right. "Order my lunch."

"Isn't...your assistant supposed to do that?"

"Do it now, or else you're fired."

"Okay." Hyunjin panicked. "What would you like me to order?" Instead of responding, Mr. Park gave him a nasty look and walked away. "Nice." He mumbled. He knew he couldn't ask Wooyoung because he was most likely too busy wiping up their boss's filth. "Oh, I'm a genius."

Having access to the security cameras, Hyunjin watched yesterday's footage and zoomed in on Mr. Park's desk. At around 1pm, he found exactly what he was looking for.

Proud of himself, he ordered his boss's lunch. While taking advantage of the company card, he got something for him and Wooyoung as well.

Hyunjin's intercom rang, coming straight from the top floor.

"Well?" Mr. Park snapped.

"It'll be here in ten minutes, sir." The secretary replied.

"By the time my assistant gets downstairs, it should be in your hands."

"But, sir-"

"Goodbye, Hyunjoon."

On the bright side, at least Hyunjin would be able to see his best friend again.

"I tried to walk extremely slow." Wooyoung said, making his way to the front desk.

"How bad was it this time?"

"It was like Peppermint Forest from Candy Land."

"That...is disgusting."

"Says the guy who watched it."

"He fucking makes me."

"What?" Wooyoung laughed, not believing Hyunjin for a split second.

"He told me to keep an eye out in case these people try to kill him."

"I wish I could do it." He scoffed. "I'm his assistant, yet he treats me like a slave."

"Next thing you know, he'll be asking you to fuck in his office." Hyunjin laughed like it was the funniest possibility in the world.

"Shut up, he'd ask you before me and you know it."

"Doubtful."

"That man looked me dead in the eye and said I have the face of a rodent."

"The guy that was here before literally looks like a hamster, he's full of shit."

"I think he looks like a rodent." Wooyoung pouted.

Finally, Mr. Park's food arrived at Hyunjin's desk, unfortunately meaning the best friends needed to part ways once again.

Whether they were together or apart, there was one thing they always had on their minds.

Fuck Mr. Park.
