Not even twelve hours before, he watched the most terrifying man he knew rip a man apart. It was gruesome. The scene kept replaying in his head and he could feel himself growing nauseous again. Then something else caught his attention. He didn't understand the words when they were first spoken yet quickly overshadowed by the murder. "I can't lose him again. I just got him back." Too many things were happening to him all at once. Too many questions to ask. How did Sho kill that man like that? His strength in the moment seemed... inhuman. How did he even know where he was? Where to look? How was he that fast? And why did he say again? Did he meet the man before and not remember it?
Sitting on the floor of his hotel room, propped against the door with his hair in his hands, he straightened up his thoughts. Atleast, as much as he could considering everything he'd tried to forget, every emotion he'd suppressed, came crashing down on him in an instant. He questioned everything he ever knew, especially about Sho. They weren't that close, but Sho acted as if he knew him. He confused him, his entire personality, his strange look, and his inhuman strength was starting to scare him. How could a man as gentle as him do that without remorse? And how did he know Daniel? This town, Sho, was quite possibly the worst thing to happen to him as of late. Avoiding him nearly killed him but being with him was utterly exhausting, not knowing anything about him while he seemed to know everything. Hell, he already knew about whatever he spewed the first night in the bar.
His thoughts were interrupted by a steady knock on the door, startling him in his distraught state. He wiped His tears and got up, opening the door to see Sho. The man looked worried and almost relieved to see him. He could see Sho visibly relax a little when he saw him, his tense look melting into something softer. "You shouldn't hide away like this in your condition." He said, holding his arms like he was about to reach out. Daniel knew there were questions to be asked. It was evident there was definitely more to Sho than he let on. So without a word he opened the door wider and gestured for Sho to come in. He obliged, and once the door was shut he started his questioning.
"How did you know where to find me?" Daniel started, sitting on the bed. Sho settled down next to him, thinking for a moment before replying. "I thought you'd come here so I asked the owner what room you might be in." Daniel nodded his head. "You...killed that man. I've never seen anyone do that before. How the hell did you do it?" He looked down at Sho's hands and the sharp claws he had. They looked pristine. They had no blood, not even a little sign that they could mutilate like nothing.
He let out a very deep, and very heavy sigh. "Experience." His tone wasn't the same. In fact, it was the exact opposite of how he sounds. Stern and monotonousness became that of a helpless child. There was a shake, and a rasp to it. He sounded like he was moments before tears. "That's all I'll be saying when answering that specific question. Nothing more." Then it was back.

Author's note:
Owner #1: This was a bit of a short chapter, but I wasn't too sure of where to end it so this and chapter 7 will be published together. Thank you to those who are reading and enjoying it so far, we've spent way too much time writing this, and there's still so much more to go. Who is Sho? Why is he so connected to Daniel? What's with his overall morale?
