Chapter 5 : CARING FAMILY

Sam slept for almost whole day, his body was not allowing him to open his eyes due to pain and weakness. Still around 8:44 pm he opened his eyes groggily. Felt a soothing touch on his head, he looked at the source, found Ishani gently caressing his head while her eyes closed like she dozed off few minutes ago but her hands still doing the duty.

A smile crept on Sam's lips. He was always amazed by Ishani's caring and protective gestures, she is the best mother a child can dream of, just like siya. The only difference is, siya never used to scold him but Ishani never misses any chance to scold him. Sam laughed at the thought, for a moment he forgot about the terrible pain he was in.

Ishani open her eyes quickly sensing the movements, felt relieved seeing sam laughing a little. She smiled looking at sam affectionately. "Abhi kaisa feel ho Raha hai sammy, kahi dard to nahi ho raha na baccha" Ishani asked all concerned.

Sam saw slight tears in her eyes, worry was evident on her face, " I am fine bhabhi...ab mai thik hu" sam said with a smile not wanting to worry her further by telling that he is still feeling pain in his whole body but not that intense and terrible which was in the morning.

Ishani raised her eyebrow, she could easily see through him, how he was trying to hide his pain with a forced smile but she didn't say anything . "Dinner ready hai teri demand pe aaj bhaiya ne khud pav bhaji banayi hai, abhi mangwati hu" Ishani informed.

"Ba....sir ne banayi" he asked like an excited kid. Ishani nodded.

Ishani felt a pang in her heart when she noticed him stopping himself to call raghav baba again.....she desperately wanted to know the reason why the kid always hesitate so much to show his rights on Raghav.

" Nahi bhabhi dinning table pe chalte hai please!....mujhe sabke sath khana hai.....I'm fine now sachi!" Sam said excitedly. Ishani smiled at him then nodded in agreement. She helped sam to the dinning table. Meanwhile sam was whining continuously that he can walk on his own, he is all fine, but Ishani royally ignored him.

They reached the dinning table, but find it all empty. He raised an eyebrow, asked Ishani where is everyone.

"Bhaiya is cooking after so long, so nishika is helping him as his assistant, your Bhai is teasing him and randeep Bhai is saving abhay from bhaiya's whacks and beating....In short they have turned the kitchen into a circus....wanna enjoy the show for free" Ishani asked sam dramatically. Sam nodded his head like an excited kid for his favourite show. Ishani smiled at his excitement and take him to the kitchen.

" Kya kar rahe ho raghav, adi aur nishika ke samne maroge isse...kya sochenge bacche iske baare mein" randeep said to raghav while shielding abhay from raghav's whack.

" Mai kuch nahi sochunga....bade papa you continue" adi said while recording everything.

"You are such a traitor adi...bus ab Ishani se bachne ke liye mere pass aana then I'll show you.....you are getting entertainment on your father's expense" abhay said,still hiding himself behind randeep. Adi ignored his empty threat royally.

Raghav glared him hard, abhay smiled at him nervously. " Bacche ko dhamki de rahe ho abhay, itna nalayak nahi samjha tha maine tumhe" raghav said teasingly.
