Mahi took Vi back to house. He made Virat lay down. Vi face had a different kind of peace which was scaring Mahi.
Mahi: cheeku have ur medicine. U know doctor said ki if u will take ur medicine on time u will become fit. And no oily food. Waise tujhe bolne ki need nhi hai tu waise bhi nhi khaata...accha hn abse walk par jaana shuru krna padega. Main bhi chalunga..
Vi nodded smiling a little
Mahi softly kissed his forehead. Vi closed his eyes trying to stop his tears..
Vi: can I go outside for walk..
Mahi: main bhi chalta hoon na
Vi: nhi bhai please..I wanna go to my old house..I wanna stay there
Mahi: accha fine. But come back before 3 hrs. U have to take medicines cheeku
Vi nodded.
After few minutes Vi reached his house
He could hear the voice
"Catch me bhaiyaaaa" (Vi's voice)
" cheeku see I bought bat for u" (prem's voice)
"Aaahhhh cheeku stop pulling my hairs" (bhawana's voice)
"Cheeku jaa fresh hole phir tv dekhiyo" (saroj's voice)
Vi was just standing smiling teary eyes. He wished he could go back into that time.
His chain of thoughts broke
"Sir u ordered chhole bhatture??"
Vi nodded
Vi: yess.
He took out his wallet to pay him. Vi's face was covered with mask so none could recognise him
Delievery boy: but sir most of the people ask for less oil food but why did u asked for adding more..
Vi: every action don't need to be questioned.
He took rhe bag and went
Delievery man: bada ajeeb aadmi hai
He left.
After 3 hrs. Virat came..
Mahi: accha hua aa gaya tu. See u can't have oily food so I prepared soup
Vi: thanks bhai
Mahi smiled patting his head. His heart was aching seeing his Cheeku like this but he know Vi won't tell him anything no matter whatever he do.
He need to give Vi sometime
After dinner Mahi passed Vi medicine. Vi took the meds closing his eyes.
Mahi left to call Saks. The moment Mahi left Vi opened his eyes going to balcony spating out the medicine which he didn't swallow.
Vi looked at the sky smiling a little
Mahi: tu soya nhi??
Vi: nhi neend nhi aa rhi thi
Mahi nodded and stood beside Vi. He looked at Vi who had a calm expression on his face and a soft smile. It was scaring Mahi.
Vi: bhai
Mahi: hm..hmm??
Coming back to the reality
Vi: next month is my birthday.
A smile appeared on Mahi's face.
Mahi: offcourse I remember cheeku. Bol kya gift dun??
