SETTING : University campus.

The rush to campus ~

Kiet locked his rented apartment and jogged down the stairs, his mind already racing through the tasks ahead. The streets of Bangkok were beginning to buzz with activities as people hurried to work and students made their way to various schools and universities. He quickened his pace, making his way through the busy crowd.

The university campus came into sight, its the familiar buildings, the buildings he used to look at on the phone screen, standing as a testament to his hard work and dedication. Kiet felt a surge of pride as he crossed the Main gate. This is where he belonged, the place he always dreamed to be a part of, where he would crave out his future for good.

The first stop was the administration office to pick up his class schedule. The line was mercifully short ..."Thank God"...he muttered to himself and within minutes, he had the precious piece of paper in hand. Even though he knew, a quick glance confirmed that his first class was at 10:00 AM - A lecture on advanced educational psychology. "Plenty of time"...he thought with relief..."Now, its time for a quick breakfast before the hectic university day starts."

Kiet made his way to the cafeteria, his stomach growling louder with each step. The cafeteria was already bustling with students, loud whispers and giggling...some catching up after the break, other like him grabbing a quick meal before their first classes. He scanned the room for an empty table, finally spotting one corner near a group of students..."A GROUP...there's no way I'm going to seat next to them...but I guess I have no other option...Ahh, I hate this already.", he thought to himself and joined the crowded line, tapping his foot impatiently as it inched forward. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and various breakfast dishes wafted through the air, making his mouth water. When it was finally his turn, he ordered a toasted sandwich and a cup of coffee - Simple, but enough to keep him full until lunch.

Balancing the tray carefully, Kiet made his way to the empty table next to the group, setting down his food and pulling out his laptop. He had a few emails to check and how can he forget, he still haven't replied to his DEAR FRIEND Benny's texts from last night.

As he took the first sip of his coffee, he couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. Despite the rough start, he was here, ready to tackle whatever the day threw at him.
