Scene: Observing Her Parents
[Mina, now seeing a different side of her parents, notices they are more caring and loving towards her baby sister, Rara. This makes mina sad and confused.]Mina:(thinking) Why are they so different with Rara? I thought how they treated me was normal... but now I see how loving and caring they can be. Why wasn't I treated like this?
[Later, mina goes to her grandma's house. Her grandma quickly senses something is wrong.]
Grandma: (gently) mina, dear, is everything okay? You seem a little down. You can talk to me about anything.
Mina: (hesitantly) Grandma, I'm happy they're treating Rara so lovingly, but... it hurts. Why didn't they treat me that way? It's like they never cared about me. (starts crying)
Grandma: (hugging mina) Oh, sweetheart. I'm so sorry you feel this way. Sometimes people change, but that doesn't mean you deserved any less love. You're precious, mina. Always remember that.
Scene: Grandma's Advice
[Later, Grandma talks to mina's father.]Grandma:(firmly) She's been the only child for so long. It's hard for her to adjust to the new focus on Rara. Please make sure she doesn't feel left out. She needs your love and attention too.
Father:(nodding) I understand, umma. I'll talk to mina's mother about it. We'll try to do better.
Scene: Confrontation
[Back home, mina's father talks to her mother.]Father: (calmly) Umma said we need to make sure mina doesn't feel left out. She's struggling with the change, and it's important we show her she's still loved.
Mother: (angrily) So mina went crying to your mother? She's just jealous of Rara! Can't she see we're doing our best?
[Her mother storms into mina's room, where mina is playing with Rara.]
Mother: (snatching Rara away) You don't like her, do you? Stay away from her if you're just going to be jealous!
Mina:(crying) But, Mom, I... I love Rara... I just... I'm sorry...
Mother: (coldly) Just stay in your room. Think about how you're acting. We don't need this drama.
Scene: Alone and Heartbroken
[Mina sits alone in her room, crying.]Mina: (thinking) Why does everything I do seem wrong? I love Rara, but why can't Mom see that? I miss Grandma... she's the only one who understands me.
[Mina hugs her stuffed bunny, seeking comfort as she cries herself to sleep, feeling more alone than ever.]
