I was raising a brow at the man who was sitting in front of me, smiling like a child that has his favorite toy.

"What do you want?" He asked when a waiter came to ask for our order.

Pucha, ang expensive nung pinili niyang coffee shop. Naiinis ako sa lalaking ito.

"I'll take a matcha latte and two slices of buko pie." I told the waiter as she wrote it on a paper.

Tinignan niya naman si Ivo. "Kayo po sir?" Tanong niya.

Ivo tilted his head. "I'll have a cappuccino and a chocolate tart." He said before handing the waitress a black card.

"I'll be back with your card and your receipt po." She said and Ivo nodded before she left.

My jaw dropped. The man in front of me is not just a smart ass. He's also rich, like super rich. Black card? Para lang sa coffee?

"Wala ka bang cash diyan?" Tanong ko sakaniya.

Umiling siya. "I only have thousands. I don't have a coin purse so, the card was the safest option." He said casually.

My God. This man is almost perfect—pero minsan parang bata kung umasta.

"I didn't know you were rich rich. I mean you look rich and elegant but I didn't know you were that black card kind of rich." I honestly said.

He just laughed. "I'm not rich. My father is the one who's rich." Sabi niya.

I just shrugged. "That still makes you rich. Since your family is." I pointed out.

He tensed. "Family, huh?" He chuckled humorlessly. "I don't even believe in that stuff." He mumbled but it was loud enough for me to hear.

I kept my mouth shut. I don't wanna ask him about a sensitive topic in his life. Hindi pa naman kami ganoon ka-close para tanungin ko at kahit close kami hindi ko tatanungin kase alam ko na it's a sensitive topic in his life.

Mga OA pa naman. Baka mamaya sabihin nila na-kidnap ako.

callie_leinne: I'm with my partner sa MLS 111 (though hindi na kami partners kase tapos naman na ang act)
-He dragged me here in a coffee shop
-So expensive ng mga items

I bet this girl is already making up issues about me and Ivo.

I rolled my eyes and was about to turn my phone off but she texted again.

chrizz_iyacabreras: May act pala sa CFE?

I frowned.

callie_leinne: Meron?

chrizz_iyacabreras: Oo, gags
-Binigay nung prof last Wednesday

callie_leinne: Kailan deadline?

chrizz_iyacabreras: 'di ko alam😓😓
-Kasama mo si Ivo ’di ba? Tanungin mo nalang siya hihi

I frowned at the last word of her text. Trip neto?

"May activity daw sa CFE?" Tanong ko kay Ivo.

The waiter earlier came back and gave him back his card and the receipt.
