SHRUTI POV.

"Aruu stop, don't run you will fall down"

As usual he was running to dadu . I slowly descended the stairs.

Mumma papa and dadu were sitting on the sofa. Aru and Bubba were running.

"Chaliye , Shruti bhi aa gyi hai, nhi to der ho jayegi."

Mumma told everyone as we all went towards the car.

We were taking 2 vehicles , dadu's  Jeep and Papa's car.

I can't even sit in the car for more than 5 minutes. I have motion sickness, yeah.

Me and aru will go with dadu and Bubba will go with mumma papa.

We all sat and started the journey. In between dadu and papa were doing a competition as who will reach fast to the large light pole.

As usual dadu won.

I am wearing a purple lehenga. Dadu brought it for me .

Thinking of these what should I wear when I get married. Should I wear a lehenga or saree.

I don't really know how to wear saree but , leave it I will decide later.

However there is one more month to the marriage.

One month , 30 days. How fast is the time going by. I feel like it was yesterday we got engaged but it's already 1 month.

I don't know how I will live there without Mumma Papa and my family.

Maa Papa are good but surely I will miss my Mumma Papa.

What if they don't treat me like this there. What if they are like this only in front of my friends and family.

No no I shouldn't think like this. I should think positive while going to someone's marriage.

Mumma says we shouldn't think anything negative while we are going somewhere.

Oh yes, we are going to the reception party of Neha and Aarush bhai.

Well they got married just yesterday.

Neha's parents didn't agree to this, we all tried convincing them but still there was not a positive response so she eloped with Aarush bhaiya.

One thing is interesting though, Neha's own brother helped her in this.

He was present in the marriage as her only family. She was in tears .

After that incident on my engagement day, i didn't talk to Neha or Aarush bhai.

But eventually after their continuous pleading I talked. It's not like I was angry with them but it's just that I was upset but don't know why.

After that day, they continued their relationship and one day Neha's parents caught them and forbade her to go out and that is how her brother Harsh helped her and yesterday they got married.

I'm really happy for her. I know Aarush bhai will keep her like a queen.

Ishaan is not here as he can't take a leave now as he took a month before. But he promised he will come soon for my marriage.

Yeah my marriage is in just 24 days.

I sighed and just looked outside.

"Shruti beta , gift rakh diya hai na tumne?"

"Haan dadu mene rakh diya hai"

Dadu nodded and continued driving.

We reached there in 20 minutes.
