Poem #15

Soft, dark, and silky,

Speckled in white,

 Gripping my shoulders,

Throughout my life.

 Fifteen foot span,

 Across my back,

A crystal shade of black.

 There forever,

Never letting go.

They shoot out and I soar,

The wind caught up in a roar,

Through the black abyss of night sky,

My wings and I.
