The atmosphere was tense to say the least, with the Director quivering and sweating profusely and the seniors not quite meeting the eyes of anyone, and the other parents who were trying to keep things as pliant as they can.
Only Ishan was smiling sweetly down at Rohit, like a innocent child who has not done anything.
But ofcourse Rohit knows better.
Rohit looked directly in the eyes of the director, his voice hard,
"Mai yaha 3 minutes se baitha hua hu, mujhe kis liye phone krke bulaya gaya hai koi batayega"
His voice echoed in the room with authority. His time was not meant to be wasted was the message that they all got.
Director stuttered,
"Ma-Mantri ji, Ishan ne inn seniors ko peeta hai aaj, uski complaint karayi gayi thi, isliye aapko bulayaa tha"
Rohit's jaw ticked, he did not like where this was going,
"To?"
Everyone in that room had their eyes wide at the nonchalance of the minister.
Seeing no response, Rohit tsked,
"Dekhiye, mere paas itna samay hai nhi jitna aap waste kr rahe hai, koi mujhe poori baat batayega?"
Ishan happily chirped from where he was standing,
"Dad, mai batau?"
Rohit nodded towards him, and Ishan told him about the whole incident,
Listening to every word that came out of his son's mouth just ticked Rohit more, making him annoyed,
When Ishan was done telling the matter, Rohit took a dangerous look at the Director, who looked on the verge of having a heart attack,
"Isliye bulaya aapne mujhe? Iss bebuniyad masle ke liye?"
His voice was so cold, the Director almost shivered at the intensity,
"Ma-ma-ma-"
"Ab bakriyo ki tarah ma ma ma na kijiye, apna kaam kijiye jaise krna chahiye, aapke college me kuch galat hua to aap direct parents ko involve krke time waste krna chahte hai? Aapke college me baccho ko isliye nhi bheja jaata hai ki aap apni zimmedariya parents pr thope, baccho ka matter baccho me suljhana seekh lijiye sir, nhi to koi kursi cheen lega aapki"
Director was at loss of words, while Rohit turned towards Ishan,
"Ishan, tumne phla haath uthaya?"
Ishan tried to keep his smirk down,
"Nahi, Dad"
Rohit then turned to his PA, Shreyas,
"Shrey, will you please look into this ridiculous matter? And report it to me?"
"Ofcourse sir"
Rohit then again glanced at the director,
"Sir, agar mujhe iss college se ek bhi, I mean it, ek bhi bullying ki complaint aayi na, to na ye college rahega na aapki pehchan, ye yaad rakhiyega"
Director gulped, not daring to speak anything, and nodded frantically.
Ishan snorted making Rohit slightly glare towards him,
"Ishan, bahar aa"
Rohit said and went out of the office, his PA and Ishan tailing behind him.
