Miciela Eris’ POV

“Kinakabahan ka ba?” Lumingon ako sa gilid ko at nakita ko si Zhang Hao. 

Umiling ako bilang sagot, “Hindi.” Sagot ko, bigla namang naghiyawan ang mga tao sa labas. Nandito kami sa backstage ngayon, hinihintay na matawag kami para mag-perform.

Lumapit si Hao sa bandang tainga ko, “Ako hindi mo tatanungin?” Medyo malakas ang pagkakatanong niya sa’kin para maintindihan ko dahil maingay ang paligid.

“Sus, alam ko naman na hindi ka kinakabahan.” Sabi ko, “Pero sige itatanong ko na din, kinakabahan ka ba?” Tanong ko sakanya, nakita ko naman siyang tumango.

“What if magkamali ako mamaya sa stage?” Sabi niya sa’kin.

“What if basagin ko ulo mo?” Biro ko, “Tanga, hindi ka magkakamali mamaya. Si Zhang Hao ka eh.”

“Naks, laki ng tiwala niya sa’kin ah.” Nakangiti niyang sabi, “Sabi na crush mo ako eh.”

Hinampas ko siya, “Baliw! Basta galingan mo nalang mamaya.”

“Gagalingan ko para sa’yo.” Sabi niya sabay kindat. Ang weird niya ngayon ha!

Mukhang malapit na matapos ‘yung bandang nagpe-perform ngayon kaya lumapit sa amin sila Seunghwan, “Okay, guys. Tayo na next magpe-perform.” Tinignan niya kami isa-isa, “I trust all of you naman na gagawin niyo ang best niyo, basta mag-enjoy lang tayo mamaya.”

“Yes! Whoo, kaya natin ‘to!” Callia cheered.

“Let’s do this, let’s burn the stage!” I cheerfully said, “Tiwala lang guys, mananalo tayo.”

Seunghwan patted my shoulder and smiled at me, “Basta ngayon palang proud na ako sainyo.”

“Manalo o matalo, basta ang mahalaga ginawa natin ang best.” Sabi ni Hanbin.

“Zenith?” Jeonghyeon extended his arm, it’s a sign to do our chant. Nagkatinginan kaming lahat at ngumiti, gumaya din kaming lahat sakanya at sabay-sabay na sumigaw, “Cross! Fighting!”

“Tonight, they’re here to showcase us a phenomenal show that promises to leave us all wanting more. Let's give a thunderous round of applause for the Musiklaban champions and the rising band of the year, Zenith!” After the emcee introduced us, I heard the crowd’s loud cheers and screams. Isa-isa kaming lumabas at nagpunta sa stage and we greeted our fans.

Third Person POV

The cheer from the crowd grew even louder after Zenith got out from backstage and greeted all their fans.

After they greeted the fans, the grounds as well as the stage went pitch black and as soon as it went black, the rest of the members showcased a powerful instrumental performance for the introduction earning an even louder cheer from the crowd.

“Ladies and gentleman, Miciela Eris Shen of Zenith!” The lights went on again and the big screen from the stage showed Eris playing her guitar.

Eris couldn’t explain what she’s feeling right now basta ang alam niya ay masaya siya habang nagpe-perform. Kahit na maraming nangyari noong mga nakaraang araw ay balewala sakanya dahil mas importante sakanya ang pagtugtog. At the back of her mind she knew that few people in the crowd didn't want her but who cares? Hindi sila ang rason kung bakit siya nandito ngayon.

And now, she’s standing again on stage showcasing her talent.

The stage has become her home. Para sakanya ay isang karangalan ang makatungtong sa stage at tumugtog para sa iba.

Isa-isang pinakilala ang members ng Zenith hanggang si Zhang Hao na ang sumunod, “And last but not the least, Zhang Hao!” Eris introduced him.

Zhang Hao felt a chill down to his spine nang marinig ang malakas na hiyawan galing sa mga fans nila. For Zhang Hao, it always feel new to him sa tuwing tumutugtog siya kahit ilang beses na niya itong ginagawa. Para sakanya ay parang first time pa rin ang lahat.

Hao took the center stage along with Eris as they skillfully played their instruments while lowkey making a showdown. Everyone loves seeing them both together and performing side by side. Kahit sa mata ng iba ay rivals sila, they still consider them as a powerful duo. 

Eris and Hao made eye contact as they exchanged smiles. The crowd got more hyped up because of the charisma and presence of Zenith who’s currently performing on stage.

The two walked closer to Seunghwan’s direction who’s skillfully playing the drum. Hanbin turned his head to face Callia and they smiled at each other. Jeonghyeon did the same too with Seunghwan.

Everyone was screaming out of their lungs until they stopped playing the instrumental. The spotlight is pointed on Eris who’s now standing at the center stage, while Eris is playing her guitar she looks at the crowd with a big smile plastered on her face. Everyone was screaming her name.

And now, she has started singing.

Saan darating ang mga salita?

Na nanggagaling sa aming dalawa.

Sumabay sa pagkanta si Hanbin, halos hindi na niya marinig ang pagtugtog ng mga ka-banda niya dahil sa lakas ng sigaw ng mga tao.

The fans sang along with them and as their 1st set is coming to an end, Hao and Eris took the center stage again.

The two sang their hearts out while facing each other, Zhang Hao looked at her intently while singing, “Aking sinta ikaw na ang tahanan at mundo…” He sang as he hoped that she would get it. Pero alam naman niya na mababalewala din naman kahit anong gawin niya.

But still, their setup is okay for him. As long as Eris is with him and as long she’s within his proximity, masaya na siya. Basta huwag lang mawawala si Eris sakanya.

Pero sadyang mapaglaro talaga ang tadhana.
