Becky's PoV
It's been a week already, and Mom has taken care of me well, but all I missed was Freen. She was too engrossed with her own thoughts and stress. I could see it in her eyes every day, how she struggled to sleep. She didn't give me cuddles or goodnight kisses. I missed her a lot.
Finally, it was the day to go back to the house. I felt nervous and anxious. Again to that home? As promised, Mom was going with us. Freen got an emergency call and said she would come later, and I should be leaving with Mom.
Mom and I took the luggage and left for the haunted house. As we entered, Anon had already prepared lunch for us. I happily ate it with Mom. She had told me she would stay for a week and see if anything was wrong, and I had agreed.
After lunch, Mom started to look around the house, and I joined her. I showed her the particular window where I had experienced those horrifying events. We both looked through the window and saw Mai, as usual, doing some garden work.
I had already explained to Mom what had happened here, so she was also surprised to see Mai through the window. The garden was lush and vibrant, with colorful flowers in full bloom and the scent of fresh earth and blossoms in the air. Later, we turned around, and thank God no one was behind us. Mom and I sighed in relief.
Mom said, "Come, let's go to the garden and talk to Mai. Get along with her, then you won't get scared around her."
I nodded, and we went there. Mai was plucking flowers, and I signed to her, What are you doing with those flowers?
She looked at me in horror; maybe we startled her. She signed back, Sorry, I was just taking them to my daughter. She loves this particular flower.
I signed, It's okay.
She nodded and smiled, gesturing her thanks. She was kind; I don't know why I felt weird about her. Then she left. We went back home and waited for Freen for dinner.
Mom called her, but she wasn't picking up. I felt bad. Freen wasn't talking to me properly or giving me time. I missed her so much. Tears gathered in my eyes, and Mom saw it. She said, "What happened, Becky? Don't cry."
She wiped my tears and hugged me. Freen came home then. Seeing me cry, she came to me. She said, "What happened, Becky? Are you okay?"
I shook my head and jumped on her, hugging her tightly. Mom said, "She's missing you, Freen, even the baby. What happened? Why are you not concentrating on them?"
Freen parted and looked down. She said, "Mom, I don't deserve her. She deserves better. I have hurt her a lot. I think I'm not a good partner, not a good mother for the baby."
She burst out crying on the ground. I sat down and hugged her. I parted and lifted her head to meet my eyes. I signed, You are the best. Don't think like that. I always love you. Even the baby does.
I placed her hands on my baby bump and smiled. She said, "Becky, give me punishment. Please."
I signed, I don't have any punishment!
She said, "Please, Becky, give me punishment."
I nodded and lifted her up. If she wants that, I'll give her. Her eyes lit up. She feels too guilty about what she did, so probably a punishment would help.
I took my phone and told her to see the text I was going to send. She nodded.
I texted her, Tomorrow I'm your Queen, and you're going to fulfill all my desires. You're going to do whatever I tell you to do.
Freen said, "Okay, baby, you're always my queen. I'll always listen to you, not just tomorrow."
I smirked. I'll ask her for something that will make her very shy and red. Yes, that's right. Freen baby, get ready for your punishment.
