Becky's PoV

Everyone ate in silence, and no one seemed eager to talk. I enjoyed my food as Freen fed me. I still remembered that I had to give her punishment today! I smirked.

Maya noticed my smirk and asked, "Oi, naughty kid, what are you thinking?"

She poked my head. I smiled and signed to her, A plan!

I smirked again. She looked confused and asked, "What plan?"

I glanced at Freen, who gulped. She now remembered what I was saying. But Maya was still confused. She said, "What!"

I shook my head and signed that it was nothing. Freen said, "Let's go to the hospital after this, okay?"

I nodded like a kid. We all continued eating. Maya broke another silence, "Let me drive you both to the hospital then!"

Freen said in an irritated voice, "No, we can go by ourselves."

Maya replied, "I want to see my niece or nephew."

Another round of silence. God, it was freaking me out. Maya said again, "Please, Freen, forgive me already."

Freen looked away but said, "Fine, you can drive us."

I held Freen's hand under the table and squeezed it, thanking her for letting Maya come along. Soon after breakfast, the three of us left home.

Mom and Freen took a while before coming to the car. I was nervous about hearing my baby's heartbeat. It was my second appointment, but I still felt nervous. But having Freen by my side made it easier.

She held my hand throughout the ride. I laid on her shoulder, and she caressed my back. I felt comforted, and without realizing it, I had already fallen asleep on her. When we reached the hospital, I heard Maya chuckle at me.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Freen still holding me, while Maya was outside the car waiting for us. I yawned before leaving Freen's side.

Freen said, "Wait, I'll open the door for you."

Before Freen got down, Maya opened the door for me, and I could see an irritated look on Freen's face. Is she jealous? But Maya is my sister, why be jealous? I held Maya's hand and got out of the car slowly. I was getting lazier day by day. Freen held my other hand as we walked inside the hospital.

Maya went ahead and asked about the appointment. We waited, and soon the doctor called us in. Freen went with me, while Maya stayed near the door. I changed into the hospital gown and showed my already grown belly bump. It was a bit more noticeable now. Freen looked at it and smiled at me.

She didn't leave my hand for a moment. The doctor applied the gel and started the ultrasound. The baby appeared on the screen, and we could hear the heartbeat. I could even see the baby's small, immature hands and legs. It was a wonderful feeling to be a mom.

Freen already had tears in her eyes. I didn't know that she was so nervous until this point. I squeezed her hand, and she looked at me. After the test, the doctor took us inside to give us the report.

She said, "Well, the baby is healthy, but the examination shows that the mother is stressed over something. Is your partner not taking care of you, Miss Rebecca?"

I flinched. Freen hadn't taken care of me for the past few days. But now, we're fine.

Freen said, her voice trembling, "Actually, I was busy with work. But don't worry, doctor, I'll take care of her from now on."

The doctor said, "Okay."

She turned to me and asked, "Do you have any illness related to the brain?"

I nodded, and Freen explained, "Actually, she has hallucinations."

The doctor said, "Oh god, that's not good. Especially not during pregnancy. I'll suggest you see a psychiatrist. It's a serious matter!"

I nodded, and Freen looked at me with concern. The doctor gave us the details, and we left. Maya took us to the address, and the psychiatrist had a lot of patients.

We had to wait for a long time, and finally, she called us in. Maya and Freen both came with me, and I was very nervous.

Freen greeted the psychiatrist with a good morning and showed her the reports. I looked at the doctor, nervous, not knowing what she would say.
