Adam's P.O.V

Wow the weekend went by fast, after all my years of being in school I still think that two days out of school each week isn't enough its just not fair. Well you know what else isn't fair when something doesn't go your way its not fair

"dude what's wrong with you, you've been like this since Friday, is it because pen. rejected you?" Leo says

"look she didn't reject me she just didn't want me to kiss her that's all its not rejection" I exclaim she just needed to go back, she clearly was into it, you know?

"Sounds like rejection to me, no it actually sounds like you just got friend zoned, you know its ok that your friend zoned probably you can get out but good luck with pen. I really do wish you the best of luck" Leo's probably right I am friend zoned

"no me friend zoned I cant be I can get with pen in the matter of weeks just give me time, have you seen me no one can reject me I bet if I go and ask that girl over there for her number she'll do it without hesitation. Ten dollars? come on man" I say with my hand out.

right now we're at a café at seven in the morning getting our early coffee before heading to school.

"Nah man I know she'll do it your basically the player at school" he declares with a smirk on his face.

"Probably that's why pen wont give me a chance because I'm the biggest player in school, you know its weird how I never thought of it that way." I say like its ok but I know its not

"you know if she really was into you she would have gotten disturbed on what you go and tell her like oh I don't know, how you took this girl home and how that girl gave you her number, if she really liked you than she would have not gone through the disturbing details" Leo wants to be right so bad but so do I

"ok look there is no disturbing details because....." I find the words to tell Leo

"I'm a virgin dude I seem like a player and everything which I am but I have never slept with a girl even pen knows that, I just thought that a little part of me can be innocent you know" I said ashamed but its true I do want one part of me to be innocent.

******back at school*****

"Hey pen I got your favorite coffee and with whip cream" I say to her while me and Leo approach Yeni and Pen

"and what about me? you clearly forgot about me duh" Yeni says annoyingly

"oh I certainly did forget about you but Leo didn't for your luck, iced hazel nut coffee right?" I turn to pen saying the last part she looks at me awkwardly and the tension between us all is very uncomfortable.

"OHHEEEMGGEEE!!!!" two very familiar faces squeal across the hallway towards the two double doors from school.

then it hits me its tiffany and Jennifer oh gosh why god why are you trying to punish me, I met them during the summer but I thought they were never going to come back here to California they were suppose to stay in Texas forever, and at least I'm not alone Leo met them too but still whatever

"hey Adam and Leo don't you remember us, you know how we spent our summer" tiffany says with a smirk and a wink while she said the last part.

And when she said that I guess pen couldn't stand it or she thought that I actually had a summer fling with her but she left annoyed and I noticed too, but I couldn't do anything about it and next thing I knew Yeni runs after her.

"Hey guys I thought you guys were going to stay over in Texas until summer again" Leo says because I let them stay there without saying anything

"yeah we planned to too but I guess my dad had other plans in mind and just three months of school left its just too late in the school year" tiffany says with a soft elegant voice.
