'your favourite girl in the whole wide world has arrived!' bella started in a singsongy voice as she entered toms dorm to find him facing away from her sat at his desk, not responding or even turning to face her. 'woww, i'm so glad i came all this way what a great welcome' she said in response to lack of social etiquette. she walked towards him untill she could rest her head on top of his, her arms slinging around his shoulders from the back as she felt him lean back into her slightly as he let out a sigh, 'it's good to see you bella' he said, tilting his head upwards to see her face 'it's very good to see you too tom!' she replied, a lot more cheerily than him. they seemed to catch eye contact as toms eyes flickered between her eyes and down to her lips, his roaming eyes took in all her bright features for a minute as she stared back intently, before he suddenly faced back to his work and carried on writing. To say bella was weirded out was an understatement, what just happened? does he like her? does he not? does he even like anyone?
pushing the thoughts out of her mind she went and lay on his bed, waiting for him to finish his work, scrolling on her phone and looking around the room. his dorm was quite dark, lots of books and through the slightly open curtains she could see the sun going down spreading a glowing golden light across the room. By the time tom had finished his work he got up and headed towards his bed to kick bella out only to find her sleeping peacefully. Tom wasn't a softie, he didn't really have a soft spot for anyone but in that moment he felt the uneasy sensation that that's would soon change.
