Hey babes, I just wanted to clear up a few things before we go deeper into the story. So I suggest you read this, so you don't too confused by some things.
Location of Uagadou: As, I'm sure some of you know Uagadou is originally located in Uganda but, in this book, I will be locating the school in Nigeria. First of, I know too little about Uganda to be able to write about a whole magic school being located there but, on the other hand, I have lived in Nigeria my whole life and I think I would do a better job writing about it. But, on a more selfish note, Nigeria is barely talked about and represented and I just wanted to shine some light on the amazing country, for once.
Race & Nationality of the Y/N: I've had a someone ask if was ok to picture Y/N as white and I think it's alright. Before you start and saying it's white washing or something, there's already a fuck ton of white people born and raised in Africa, who are African. Okay, so as for race, be whatever colour you want, white, black, red, purple, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK. But, on the subject of nationality, Y/N has to be from somewhere in Africa. There are 54 countries in Africa so DO NOT come at me saying there not enough options. She also has be born and raised in Africa, it make shit easier, okay?
