I sit on my desk going through the files of the different people. Specifically Jeremy and Raven. There's still mostly empty but Ace has been able to find more information that could be important.
Jeremy was last actively seen two months ago in this city. He apparently still lives here and works for the all-so-famous agency Raven works with. There's a high possibility they know each other but it doesn't seem like Jeremy is an assassin. It appears he's more of a background player in the game that helps assassins behind the scenes. He has skills and is trained in combat and hacking techniques but he doesn't involve himself much in those fields. He gives out missions and finds information needed for them.
Raven on the other hand is still a mystery. She's said to work a lot with knives and snipers but less on hand combat. She's highly skilled and has killed more people than recorded. She's known to dress up for her missions to avoid suspicion but nobody knows her face but the people she's killed. Her technique is special and she usually leaves a sign on her victim before leaving. She also lives here and is highly appreciated in her agency as their top assassin. The last time she was seen active was almost three weeks ago but not an identified location. There's not much information about her but her ruthlessness.
I put the files away exhausted by the work. I grab my black coffee take a sip and lean back on my seat. A woman's face flashes in my head from three weeks ago in the club. Seeing someone two times in a week doesn't mean anything good in my life. She's a special woman, from the first time we met at the party to the day after in the club when she waved at me. She has a playful demeanor with her all times we've met but you could tell she has a strong personality and strength behind her puppy-like atmosphere.
Though her presence annoys the hell out of me I can't seem to get her off my mind. Her long brown hair and soft eyes. Everything feels so perfect about her. But I'm not attracted to her. I would never be attracted to a woman, especially not her.
The issue with the photo and video leaks has been mostly sorted out. PR is still doing its best to take down the media and meet with the media regarding the issues. Justin has been taken care of and is too shaken up to do anything. He was pissing me off so I took the pleasure to personally pay him a visit.
"Ales. You have a meeting in 5." Ace says popping in.
I nod as I snap out of my thoughts. Confusion washes over me as I question my feelings and thoughts.
I get up walking out of my office towards the meeting room where Ace and the many men and women already occupy. I take a seat at the head of the table next to where Ace is standing. Once I sit down everyone else sits back down.
"We may start," I say and a woman stands up.
"Sir we've been receiving threats from the French, they want more money for the things they provide."
"How much are we giving now?" Ace says.
"1.8 million every shipment which happens every 4 months." She responds professionally
