Never Knew||Luke Hemmings

Chapter 2

I woke up to the ringing of my phone. It was Luke. Why would he be calling at 8:00 a.m. I just answered it. I said,"Hello?" Luke said,"Hey. I was wondering if tonight would be okay to go out?" I took the phone away from my ear and thought about it for a few seconds. I then brought it back up to my ear and said,"Sure. That's fine. What time?" It took him a second or two to think. He then says,"Umm, is 8:00 okay?" I just said,"Sure." So after that I just went back to sleep. I woke up again around 1:00 p.m. I shrugged as I looked up at the time and just pulled myself out of bed. I took a shower and got dressed. I didn't really know what to do until I would start getting ready to go out with Luke tonight. So I just got on my phone and scrolled through Twitter. I looked at the trending tweets. There was a picture of Luke handing me his phone number and us talking. There was another picture of him bumping into me. There was some hate comments and jealousy going on. But I just ignored it. I decided that I should go to Starbucks. I get up and grab my car keys. I ask Lucy if she wants to go and she just said yes. So we got in the car and started driving. When we get there, there are girls surrounding the place. People are screaming,"Luke, I love you!" And screaming,"Calum! Marry me!" Lucy and I shove past the girls and Lucy starts fangirling. I grab her arm and we get to the cash register. I ordered some coffee and Lucy a orders a frappe. We sit at a table and I look around the room and find Luke with Calum. Luke and I catch eyes. I see Luke mumble something to Calum. Him and Calum get up and start walking to our table. "So you mind if we sit with you?" Luke asks. "Sure!" Lucy says in excitement and I just roll my eyes. Don't get me wrong. Luke is cute and I like him. So Lucy gets up and come sits beside me and let's Calum and Luke sit in the booth across us. "Well, Taylor, this is Calum. And Calum, this is Taylor." Luke says while taking a sip of coffee. Lucy just starts talking to the boys like she's known them for a while. And I'm just sitting there drinking my coffee. "Taylor, so did you like our concert?" Calum questions. "Yeah, it was great." Then Luke jumps in and says,"Glad you liked it! We are going to be in Australia for a month. This is just the beginning of it!" When he said that I didn't realize I had a huge smile on my face, and so did Lucy. And that made Luke smile. So Lucy and I decide we should get going. We say goodbye to Luke and Calum and jump in the car. On our way home, we notice that it looks like it's about to rain. As we get home it started pouring down rain. We ran inside and we both went our separate ways. I went in my room and took a shower and started getting ready even though it was quite early. When I get out I put something casual on. I'm wearing jeans and a black crop top. I put on light makeup and curl my long hair. As I'm done it is now 4:00. I just decide since it really early to just go downstairs and join my family. When I get down Lucy is watching tv. "Hey, where's mum?" I ask as I sit down next to her. "She's at the grocery store getting dinner for tonight." She answers back. As we are watching tv mom walks in with a bunch of groceries. Lucy and I help her put them up and sit back on the couch. I look at the clock and it is now 6:30, and I get up and go to my room and just listen to my music.

I look back up at the clock and it's now 7:56, I run downstairs and sit on my couch and wait. I heard knock on the door and check the mirror and make sure nothing is out of place and go to the door. I open it to find Luke smiling at me like an idiot and he stares me up and down. I yell at my mom telling her I'm leaving. We walk out and get in his car. He blasts All Time Low through his speakers and he sings a long. I just laugh at him. It feels like we have gotten really close in the last 10 minutes. As we addictive at our destination I look up and it's one of my favorite ice cream places. We walk in and I get strawberry and he gets chocolate. We sit down and he started talking about his band. "You should really meet the rest of my band. They're cool guys." "That would be nice. " I say back. "So, what type of music do you like?" He asks. "Um, I like Green Day, Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, Nirvana, Falling in Reverse, Bring Me The Horizon, and Blink-182." I say. "Me too!" He says. When we finish our ice cream we just get back in the car and drive around Sydney and get to know each other. His middle name is Robert, his birthday is July 16, and his band mates are Ashton, Calum, and Michael.
Luke's POV
I'm starting to really like Taylor, she's beautiful, she's nice. She listens. Just what I need. I've gotten to know her a lot on this one date. (Hey baby, I think I wanna marry you...jk.) I take her home. As we are standing on her door step, I lean in to kiss her, she kisses back and he sister, Lucy, comes out and walks in on us. She just laughs and yanks, Taylor inside.
Lucy's POV
I open the door because I hear a car and I see Luke kiss Taylor and I start busting out laughing. They both look at me and start laughing, I yank Taylor inside and she just looks in a trance. "YOU JUST KISSED LUKE HEMMINGS!!!" I yell. She just nods,"I know..." She still looks in a trance. MY SISTER JUST KISSED LUKE HEMMINGS!
Taylor's POV
I just kissed Luke, it was amazing. I walk upstairs and decide to put on a tank top and pajama shorts and go to sleep.
