Minecraft Dating Simulator

You take a seat at your desk and power up your pc. You recently heard of this new game called Minecraft Dating Simulator and it's all your friends have been talking about.

To be honest, you've never been that big of a fan of dating sims but since your friends seem to be obsessed you decide to check it out so you can talk with them about it.

You pull the game up and wait for the screen to load and once it does you're confused. All you see is ugly skeletons and zombies and no humans anywhere.

"Who am I supposed to be rizzing up?" You ask yourself as to click "start a new world". The game spawns you into a birch forest with a book in your hot bar.

You open to the book and read its contents:

Hello and welcome to Minecraft Dating Simulator! In this game you will work hard to protect, gift, and swoon a mob of your choice! This game is mostly free play with small built in storylines for each mob. You can build and break whatever you want! The main catch is that mobs can hate you as much as they can love you so, watch out for jealous ex's! When you find a mob that you want to charm, make sure to pick a trope so you can watch your love story play out! Just be mindful of your time limit. Each trope has one and they can vary in length depending on the trope! If you fail to date your mob by the end of your time they will be considered one of your ex's and can mess up your future pairings! And if you kill any available mobs they will respawn with revenge on their minds. Don't make enemies and good luck!

You turn the page to find a catalog of available mobs and your confusion grows. The pictures show a skeleton, a zombie, a drowned, a villager, a pillager, a wither skeleton, a piglin, the zombie piglin, an enderman, the warden, a zombie villager, an iron golem, the ender dragon, a creeper, a blaze, a ghast, a phantom, a magma cube, a slime, a witch, a stray, the wither, and the elder guardian.

"But none of these of human? What kind of dating sim is this. What are these options?!" You ask yourself as you scroll through all the candidates.

You decide to text your friends to ask what the hell this game is and they respond immediately.

"Dude, the enderman is SO FINE!" Your one friend says.
"I've been grinding for him for weeks and I've barely gotten anywhere. But, I guess it's my fault since I chose slow burn as my trope." He finished as your other friend began typing.
"I'm personally going for the Warden. Idk he's got that kind of muscular build that I like." Your second friend says.

You sit back in your chair, dumbfounded.
"What are they even talking about? They're delusional. " You think to yourself.
"None of these candidates are attractive. How am I going to chose who I want to date out of these?" You say, going back to the game.

You close out of the book and start to make your way through the forest. You pick up some wood and stone along the way as to come to the bottom of a mountain. You realize that it will soon be night as you discover a ravine and you decide to go explore.

You drop down into the water and immediately find some coal which you're able to turn into torches as you make your way further into the cave. As you turn the corner you're greeted by multiple mobs. At first you think they'll attack as they run up to you but it's actually the opposite.

They gather around you in curiosity like you're the new kid at school. Not hostile, just a little close for comfort. You look around at all of them and decide that now would probably be a good time to choose a love interest. You click on the "Pursue?" button on the bottom of your screen for a skeleton to your left. You scroll the tropes list:

You scroll for what feels like forever until you ultimate decide on Forced proximity. You assume that this will be a one of the shorter tropes and you won't have to really work to charm this skeleton like you would if you were to do something like Enemies to lovers.

You're suddenly teleported to a small island with only one tree and your new Skeleton bae. You have none of the stuff you had before and you're utterly stuck. Will you be able to rizz up this skeleton in just 10 days or will you have your first ex?

Hey guys! My plan for this book is to write this entire play through until this player gets a lover. After I finish that, I'm thinking I'll do other random combinations like Mafia romance with an iron golem because they're just too silly. I'll also take requests if you're ever interested! If you are, feel free to comment right here! They will probably end up being like oneshots for each pairing.
