Inky and Lankmann (one shots my OCs)

Hospital trip

Lankmann's POV.

"Okay goodbye!" I say to one of my coworkers as I rush out the door of my workplace and get in my car, fuck I think myself as I start the car "I'm going to be late aren't I." I say cursing at myself for not leaving earlier. After a while of driving I arrive home and park in the driveway. I get out, and lock the car and fiddle with my keys and unlock the door and walk in "Great." I say sarcastically looks like I can't avoid the nightmares as Inky calls them even when I'm home "Welp I hear things at work and I see things at home great just just great" I say unenthusiastically  with a bored look on my face. Whatever I just need to find Inky I think as I start to head to the spot I usually find her in, under the coffee table "huh she's not there weird?" I say confused, "She's probably under the kitchen table she probably got hungry while waiting for me to come home." I say going to the kitchen " What she's not here either?" I say even more confused " Did she leave while I was at work?" "No she couldn't have she's afraid to leave the house without me." I say sitting down on one of the kitchen chairs, I then suddenly here a noise coming from my room upstairs.

I run up the stairs almost falling down, I then get to my bedroom and open the door and see Inky under my desk rubbing her head with her claws gently as not to hurt herself, "Hey." I say walking up to her "Did you hit your head?" I ask gently as not to scare her, she nods her head "Yeah." She says so quietly to where I almost didn't hear her as I kneel in front of her, "Hey we're going somewhere soon so can you come out from under there." I say moving back a little so she can come out "Where?" She ask "Well uhm I made you an appointment to see a doctor so we'll be heading to the hospital." I say quietly, her eyes open wide as she shakes her head no. "Hey I promise you it's just a simple appointment and I'll be next to you the whole time." I say soiling gently as I reach out my hand for her to take, "okay." She says taking my hand with her tail so her claws don't hurt my hand. I help her up and start walking towards the door "Hey how about after we get home I'll make you one of delicious sandwiches how's that sound." I say knowing it will cheer her up, "Yes!" She says excitedly as she bends down to fit under the door way due to her height we then make our way to my car, I then open the door and help her lay down sense she's to tall to sit down I then get in myself and start driving to the hospital, after a while for driving in silence I say "At least won't have to change into a hospital gown you know cause you're already in one." "Yeah." She says anxiously "Hey it's going to be alright I promise." I say Inky nods her head in approval, after a few more minutes of driving we arrive at the hospital.

I find a good parking spot get out help Inky out of the car and we start walking towards the front doors "Oh and just to let you know I already told them about you and any basic info they would need to know." I say as we walk up to the front desk "Hello how can I help you." The receptionist says "Yes hello I have an appointment for today at 4:15 for Inky." I say as Inky clings to my arm "Ah yes please have a seat a doctor will come get you shortly." The receptionist says with a small smile "Thank you." I say matching her attitude as I walk over to the seating area with Inky following quick behind me, we sit down I flash Inky a quick smile and squeeze her arm as to say it will be over soon and everything will be okay I assume she got the message because she did the same to just with tail and she even wrapped one of her wings around me and smiled, after a while of waiting it was finally our time to go so I got up with Inky joining me soon after and we followed the nurse to were we would be. Once we got there they had Inky sit down on the bench luckily the roofs were high enough so she wouldn't have to bend over, then a nurse came and asked a few simple questions like "How old are you" "Do you have any known allergies" stuff like that Inky answered what she could luckily they were nothing to big so she was able to answer most of them, then the doctor came in and asked so let's say personal questions like he said "So I was told you don't speak much tell me what words have you said?" I had to answer for Inky but when I said she had mentioned the word asylum he began to seem interested in things Inky couldn't say do to how long they were or I couldn't say cause I didn't know the answer but he seemed really pushy about getting an answer even after all the times I told him those questions can't be answered but eventually we got to done with the appointment and Inky was alright and her scar wasn't anything bad and it seems she's had it for a while now. But after that I finished any paper work I had to do we got in the car and I start driving home.

Not long after we exited the parking lot and get on the road I hear "Lank" Inky said "Yes" I say "Never again." She says sternly but with a tired and nervous look on her face "sure we don't have to go again I just wanted to make sure you were okay that's all." I say she nods her head and smiles. After driving in silence we arrive home I get out and help Inky out, I unlock the front door and me and Inky head inside "come on let's head to the kitchen I'll make some diner." I say walking into the kitchen Inky nods her head and hurries behind me. I make us some dinner and once we finish I take the dishes and put them in the sink and I head upstairs with Inky behind me I get ready for bed, I walk out of my bathroom and see Inky all curled up on one side of my bed although she end ups taking up most of the bed I'm glad she's comfortable here I walk up to my bed "I don't know where you came from but I know you're a gift from Lilian in heaven and I'm glad you feel safe with me." I say sitting down on my bed smiling as I pet Inky on the head. "I promise I'll help you with whatever you need I promise." I say as I lay and close my eyes as I start to fall asleep.

This is my first story so I hope you guys liked it.
