Yoongi let his brother rest for the while because the other was looking so exhausted and tired that he felt that letting the other rest is the best option for the time being.

The omega was confused in the big mansion. Felix asked if he could help the other to find his room but Yoongi refused.

"I am taking him." Yoongi said, hands holding the other's wrist who smiled softly at his hyung.

Felix chuckled.

They started walking upstairs. Taehyung looked at their intertwined hands. Those days, his hyung's protectiveness all clouded his mind.

Those were the days he wished he could get back.

But nevertheless, atleast he found his hyung and he won't forget to cherish the days from today.

Well only if he's lucky enough to stay peacefully with his hyung.

"Hyung." Tae called. Yoongi hummed softly while walking up the stairs.

"Which room is mine?" Taehyung asked.

"All are yours, bear. Moreover it's just for today night. We will be going back to South Korea tomorrow." Yoongi informed, softly caressing his brother's hand with his thumb.

"Going back?" Taehyung got surprised to be honest. "Is it safe there hyung?" Taehyung asked after a pause, gulping at those thoughts of the particular male he wish never to see again.

His hyung said he's a Mafia means he must be powerful enough. Can he believe that he's safe with his hyung?

Yoongi paused as they came infront of a room. Since Taehyung was tired, Yoongi chose that one and pushed open the door to head inside.

"It's a small room. Let's move to another." As soon as Yoongi saw that the room was small, he held the other's hand again to go to another room.

Taehyung nervously laughed.

"It's big than i thought, hyung. I will stay here." Taehyung replied, smiling when he saw his hyung's hesitant face.

"Ohh chill hyung. I wanna sleep. Why the size of room matters?" Taehyung jokingly said, sitting on the bed followed by Yoongi.

"Everything related to my bear's comfort matters to me." Yoongi softly said, taking the other's hand between his. "And you're safe tae. As I said nobody from now onwards will dare to even look at your direction with evil intention. Your hyung is here now, bear. I will manage everything and- the life which you deserve, you will live that, tae." Yoongi firmly said. As if each words were getting through his mind and not his mouth.

Taehyung's eyes got teary. All those pains, those sufferings, everything is over now.

But was it really?

He didn't know and he didn't want to know. He want to cherish his present and not think of future.

"I know hyung. Though you still look like a cat." Taehyung giggled, tracing his hyung's face with his fingers, poking his cheeks with his finger and again giggling.

Yoongi laughed closing his eyes. His gummy smile got into view and Taehyung missed that for his life.

"Now shall we sleep bear?" Yoongi softly asked when the omega nodded his head..

"You will sleep with me hyung?" Taehyung asked , his eyes sparkling at the thought of sleeping with his hyung after so many years. Yoongi smiled noddingly.

"Why not? I will sleep with my baby bear. Come." Taehyung jumped and hugged his hyung who caught his brother in his arms and laid down. A small peck on the other's forehead was a free reward with the hug.

Taehyung closed his eyes, hugging his hyung lightly. His hyung still feels the same. The same smile, laugh, laziness. Everything is same.

He's happy.

Just then he closed his eyes, his whole body started getting hotter and hotter until he felt his neck where the his mark was digging holes.

He struggled and Yoongi understood. Taehyung sat up along with his hyung, his eyes painfully closed as he was holding the area where his mark was present.

"H-hyung." Taehyung cried. The pain was too much for him to stand.

It was sudden and he wasn't prepared.

"What's wrong bear? What happened?" Yoongi hurriedly got infront of the other, holding his both hands as he tried to remove them from scratching his neck.

"I-it's burning hyung." Taehyung cried more. His eyes were stinging at the pain as he felt his heart hurting too. "My heart's hurting hyung. H-he's in pain hyung. He is in pain." Taehyung's hasten breath got more uneven as he felt his body going numb from the amount of pain it was causing him.

He was a marked omega. Though he didn't get his heat but he can feel the connection between him and Jeongguk. The faint connection. Very little yet recognisable.

He was sure Jeongguk was in danger. His head was busting at the point. He knew his hyung was telling him something but the buzz sound inside his ears is stopping him from letting other sounds enter in his ears.

He opened his eyes, his hyung's panicked self got into view. But he couldn't do anything. His world was spinning and he feels like he was spinning too.

All this ended when his sight darkened and everything stopped there as he fell on the bed unconscious, peacefully.

"TAE." Yoongi cried in panick as he picked up the other's head and placed it on his lap. "Hey bear. W-what happened?" Yoongi called, his own hands were shaking as panick seized him through his nerves.

Taehyung was just fine few minutes ago. What happened now?

He got up placing the other's head on the soft pillow. He took out his phone to call Felix who immediately got to the other.

"Call Dr Kim. Right now." Yoongi ordered.

And within a hour, Dr Kim arrived. Yoongi didn't waste a second and took him to his brother.

"See him Namjoon. Why he suddenly got unconscious?" Yoongi said, hands sweating on it's own.

Namjoon didn't reply but keep on checking the other's wrist and his neck pulse.

After few minutes of checking, he removed his stethoscope and stood up.

"Where's his mate?" The sudden question Namjoon asked made the Mafia frown at the other.

"Mate? He don't have any." Yoongi replied, confused and pushed up.

"What? But he's marked."

That's all. Yoongi felt a lightning striked right through his heart. He couldn't hold himself anymore and lost his balance. Felix held him. "Hyung, hold yourself." Felix softly said, sadness and concern lingering in his voice.

Namjoon frowned too at the scene.

"He's marked, Mr Min. And he got unconscious because of the mark only." Namjoon informed as Yoongi gulped down the lumb on his throat.

"What happened before he got unconscious?" Namjoon asked again after a pause. Yoongi's eyes were roaming all around the tiles but not at anyone.

"H-he said it was burning and someone is in p-pain." Yoongi retorted coughing away a little of his lump.

Namjoon hummed.

"Well right. His mate is in danger so the mark gave him a little of his pain." Namjoon informed. Yoongi's drowsy eyes fell on his brother again..

"You need to check if his mate is okay. If something happens to him, Taehyung will be in danger." Namjoon sighed, informing Yoongi who held the bedsheet tightly as he sat down on the bed.

His eyes holding no more emotions anymore.
