This may be skipped if you just want to read the story, but I just want to explain why I made this, and what it actually is.

This 'Percy Jackson Betrayed' idea is such a cliché. It's been done to death, and writing this is kind of like milking a dry cow. But despite all of the inherent plot holes, it has so much potential, that's been missed COMPLETELY by many authors who've attempted this in the past.

There is only one slight difference in this story which is important for the plot, which is that Percy never stops, y'know - blood bending - after Annabeth asks.

I want to show that this premise can be transformed into something amazing, and I'll try my best to write something moving. And I'll be using as many, and I mean as many, clichés I can think of. I'll put here a list of cliché tropes I'm going to try  to include in this story:

- Annabeth 'betrays' Percy

- Percy keeps blood bending despite the fact that he promised Annabeth he wouldn't

- Percy's annoying half-brother comes to camp

- Percy gets framed for ruining shit

- Percy goes to Mt. Olympus and asks the gods for death

- Percy flees camp

- Chaos meeting Percy (I'll do something interesting with this one)

Well, I just thought of this fic idea in the shower and now here I am, reviving my dead account just to write it. But, this fic, despite using all the clichés, is still gonna be pretty different (at least I hope). Let's just say that while all the ideas will be used, but in a very different way.

Anyways, there likely won't be any more A/N in the fic except at the end because I hate breaking immersion, so without further ado...

Let's begin.
