Chapter 2

Jooyeons pov

I was going back to my house. I needed rest. I entered my house, which was big, I hated living alone, but what could I do? I'm the only vampire left. I just hoped my older brother Junnie could've stayed, but unfortunately, he died while trying to find me as a little kid.

I despised myself since that day, from what happened to my brother, it should've been me and not him. I don't clearly remember what happened, but I know that he died because I trespassed a house just as big as mine. At that time, I didn't even know how to speak, and I didn't even know such a thing as trespassing. I was following a friend name Min he was the nicest and sweetest little boy I had ever met but I've never seen him ever again, I've only heard that he died because his father sold him for money. After that, I never believed in friends, nor anyone. I've been alone for 178 years.

I then remembered that I left the poor kid all ok the ground. He might be cold now. He looked handsome just a bit similar to Min, but in a humane way. I thought of bringing him with me, but a human and a vampire together in the same house I could never.

I felt sad for the boy. What if he's cold or scared all alone. I'll go and get him to my house. Anyways, he looks like Min a little, so I'll go bring him whether he likes it or not.

I went to where I sucked the boys' blood. I saw still lying on the ground. I carried him in a bridal style and took him with me. I realised there was a cat that was purring and crying. I guess it was his, so I brought her with us. I don't like cats and all, but the poor kid will be sad if I don't get his kitty with us, and plus, she loves him. I was looking at the way she was picking him. The kitty was even kissing him. He was cute. Even when he was sleeping. His cheeks were chubby but not too much. His hair was messy, and he looked charming. Why am I thinking like this. Let's just get him home and wake him up. He is like cold ice cream.

I reached my house. It was in the middle of the forest. Everything was cold in my house. I loved the cold. The forest was scary. Not for me but for people who had gone camping here before. I needed to warm this person up. He was freezing. His cat needed food, but I didn't know what to feed her.

I went to my room and put the boy under two blankets I had stored in case I felt cold one night. He moved and hugged his cat. I left them sleeping, and I went to do my work. Which was flying to trees to see how the city looks from here. I always wanted to know how it was in the human world. It looked very beautiful and breathtaking. How did humans think of the vampire world. Did they like it? Did they not? It's the millionth time I ask myself, but I never got an answer to it.

I was sitting on the tree watching the lights go on because it was becoming darker. The lights that were on the buildings were the lights that were on the scenery. They were beautiful, just like Min. I miss Min so much. He was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I was remembering the times I was with Min. How swwt and caring he was. How cute he was. How handsome he was. That's when I remembered the boy was at my house all alone. He might be scared or even hungry. I didn't know what his reaction would be, but I'm guessing it wasn't good. I went back home to see his reaction. He was scared, and he was throwing stuff around. My eyes became red. I got mad. I stopped him by grabbing his hand, making him fly with me. "Why are you throwing my stuff everywhere?" I asked him in a quiet voice, but it was mad. He was so scared. "Put me down, please!" He said while crying. My eyes get back to normal after seeing him cry. I put him down and hugged him.

"Get away from me!" He said, pushing me away. "Where am I!" He was yelling. My ears were bleeding. I saw the mark I gave him. "Can you calm down?" I said in a calm voice, trying to help him calm down. Suddenly, his cat jumped on me from his hands and scratched my face. "Ouch," I said. I got so mad I was gonna choke her when she was running. I was flying to her until he stopped me. "Don't touch Susu!" He screamed. I always hated screaming.

After telling him to calm down multiple times, he calmed a little. I let him sleep in my room along with his cat. He went up to my room and slept. I was so tired from running around and trying to calm him down. I just hope he could sleep tonight.
