Chapter 3

Jiseoks pov

I woke up. It was still night. I couldn't tell the time because there was no clock here. It was very cold. I went downstairs to see if that person was still there. I saw him sleeping on the couch with no blanket. I was surprised that he didn't feel the cold.

I went to him and I saw him sleeping. I thought maybe I could sleep next to him so I could warm up. I slept next to him, put the blanket on top, and my cat was in between it was warmer now. I was sleeping now and comfortable. The guy was very comfortable. I hope he doesn't mind that I slept next to him to get warm. I think he would. I started to get up and leave until a hand grabbed my arm. "Stay," the guy said. I played back down, and he hugged me. I hesitated at first, but i still hugged him.

I just knew I was going to sleep peacefully since it's warm and I'm getting hugs. This person is strange but also strangely weird, at least caring. I slept and tried to get the fact that I'm in a weird place, but I couldn't. It just never flew out of my brain. It's stuck there.

I tried to sleep, but it wasn't working. I tried and tried. Nothing worked. I saw that the guy wasn't sleeping either. "I can't sleep," I told him. "Neither can i," he said. "Ok, then let's talk. I'm Jiseok." I told him. "Nice to meet you, Jiseok. I'm Jooyeon, " he said to me. "My hobbies are eating, sleeping, playing guitar, and watching movies. What about you?" I asked him. "I like sleeping and sucking blood," Jooyeon said. "Can I ask you something?" I asked him. "Yes," Jooyeon replied. "Are you by any chance a vampire?" I asked him. "I am," he said straightforwardly. I was surprised. I've heard people talk about them, but they never said they were real. They always said in fiction and stories, but never in real life have I ever seen one till now.

I wanted to ask him, but it felt weird to ask him. I will just ask him later. Now he wanted to rest. "It's hot," Jooyeon said. "No, it's freezing!" I replied to him. He sighed. "How are you freezing?" Jooyeon asked me. "Because I'm human!" I replied. Jooyeon made a oh face. I knew he knew but wasn't sure how and why, but I'm sure now he knows. "I'm hungry," I told him. He only mumbled an ok. "I need food," I told him. "OK, go eat," Jooyeon said. "Eat what!" I told him. I got up from the couch. "There's nothing here that is eatable." I said to him. He got up from the couch. "Oh, sorry, uhhh, we can go steal some stuff for you to eat," he told me. "Steal, why can't we buy?" I asked him. "Oh, uhh, I don't have any human money on me," he told me. "Oh," I said. I was really hungry. I didn't know what to do. "We can go to my house and get my wallet and then go buy stuff." I told him excited. "And what if you will escape when I let you go?" he told me while getting up from the couch and getting close to me. "I won't go alone. You're coming with me," I told him. "In day?" He asked. "Yeah," I told him. "We can go now better it's night," he told me.

We went out at night. We were walking. I left Susu there sleeping. I'm bringing her food too. He wasn't even trying to hide. Until we got near a lot of people. He started hiding behind trees. "Come, no one will think you're a vampire," I told him. He came and tried to act normal.

We entered the store. I was looking for food, and he was just following me around. I'm looking at everything that looks like blood. I knew he was hungry, but of course, I can't just bring him blood from a store. I was done with picking the food I wanted, so we went to the counter. I told him to smile because he looked like a zombie. He did as I said. The person who was doing my groceries screamed. "AHHHHH VAMPIRE!" She screamed so loud that my ears bleeded. Jooyeon ran outside. I followed after giving her the money and taking my stuff.

He ran very fast. Everyone was screaming. He went in an alley. I followed him. I saw him sucking someone's blood from their neck. When he saw me, he stopped. He came to me. "I'm sorry," he said. He looked very sad. We went back to his house. I feed Susu and I feed myself as well. He went to sleep on the couch. I went to him and slept next to him. To feel warm. And to sleep tight.
