I'm Clara Lemoine, daughter of Addison and James Parker. The story behind my name is rather enchanting. My parents led a life full of adventures, and during one of their trips to Greece, a woman foretold that they would have a beautiful daughter who would bring them great joy. She suggested they name her "Lemoine," symbolizing beauty. And so, here I am, Lemoine, a beautiful and brilliant lawyer.

My life took a tragic turn when I was 18 years old. One terrible night, feeling bored and restless, I sneaked out to attend a party. When I returned home in the early morning, I was met with a harrowing scene: a group of police officers standing in front of our house, carrying out bodies in black bags. My parents were dead. The pain and guilt were unbearable; I couldn't stop thinking that if I had been there, maybe I could have done something.

Back then, a series of strange murders had been occurring, but the police were clueless. Instead of finding the real culprit, they treated me as a potential suspect, accusing me of killing my parents to inherit their billion-dollar technology company. It was then that I realized the deep flaws in our justice system.

Seven years later, I had become a brilliant lawyer, graduating top of my class from Harvard University. I received an offer to work at one of the most prestigious law firms in New York. Six months into my new job, I met Marc Smith, a mysterious yet captivating man. He was handsome and intelligent, and after a few dinners together, I felt a strong connection between us. We began dating, but Marc was always reticent about his past and his job. His mystery was alluring at first, but as secrets began to surface, it became troubling. After a year of dating, Marc abruptly ended our relationship. I was left in a whirlwind of emotions, unsure whether to feel sorrow or relief.

The abrupt end of my relationship with Marc left me reeling. Despite my emotional turmoil, I threw myself into my work, determined to channel my pain into something productive. My career continued to thrive, and I built a reputation as a tenacious and brilliant lawyer. I was working in Smith and Associé lawyer cabinet. There I felt alive because I was helping others after winning several cases at only 26 years I was one of the most respected lawyers in New York. Hoping one day to be an associé of Smith cabinet of lawyers.

One day, a high-profile case landed on my desk and this was the beginning of another story. It was a case of a serial killer it was all over the media, I went and meet my boss James Smith explaining to him that I couldn't take the case because of personal reasons. Deep inside me it was because of my parents death how could I defend  someone that killed others. But James explained to me that it is my big chance to become an associé of the cabinet so I accepted the case what I didn't know is that this case could dived me in a world of danger and no pity.
