Chapter 2
Kris's POV
3 hours and 4 class periods late, made my way towards the lunch hall with Harry by my side.
"So Kris how do you like the school so far?" Harry asked but I could tell he really didn't care. Instead he was checking out this girl who had just walked in front of us. Of course.
"Good," I started slowly and he just nodded his head, still looking at the girl's ass in front of us. "Some of the kids in my History class and I are going drinking tonight." I was really hoping that would get his attention, but no. Instead he caught up to the short, blond girl he was staring at and started chatting with her. So much for loyalty. I walked to the lunch hall by myself, getting a few stares from some of the kids. When I walked into the lunch hall, I noticed how full it was walked towards the table Harry was at. The blond girl Harry was walking with looked at me and made a disgusted face, then leaned in towards the girl next to her. The two girls threw their head back in laughter. I looked over to Harry who was talking to a very athletic looking boy with short, brown hair.
"Um, Harry?" I tapped on his shoulder, trying not to notice everyone staring me down.
"Oh, hey Kris." Harry looked away from the brown haired boy and smirked at me. "This is Liam, he's the captain of, well basically, everything." he patted Liam on the back and I smiled shyly at him.
"Um, excuse me but why are you even here?" the blond girl asked in a nasally voice. You could tell she was the popular girl who got everything she wanted. I didn't feel like arguing with her so I said good bye to Harry and walked away. Since I didn't know anyone, I didn't have any place to sit and there were no empty tables. Except by a blond boy about my age or a year older. No one sat with him at the table and there were pieces of burger stuck in his hair. I walked over to him and plopped in the seat across from him. I noticed he was wearing a long sleeved black shirt and a bunch if bracelets with band names on them.
"Hi!" I said cheerfully. He looked up at me, silently chewing his food. He had beautiful blue eyes that held a lot of pain. "My name's Kris. I'm new here." After I pulled out my green tea from my bag, I turned to face him. He still hadn't said anything. "So what's your name?" I tried to make conversation. It wasn't working very well. "Can you at least tell me why you have burger in your hair?" Reaching across the table, I grabbed a piece off and through it on the ground.
"Kris?" I turned to see Liam standing behind me, Harry by his side. "Why are you sitting with him?" Harry sounded rude, even disgusted.
"Well because those bitches that you guys were sitting with don't want me there, so I might as well sit somewhere right?" I asked them sourly and turned back to the mysterious blond boy across from me. Harry looked at Liam and smirked.
"Here Niall, lemme help you with that." Harry walked around towards the boy across from me and shoved his head in the plate of mashed potatoes in front of him. Liam laughed and handed Harry a bottle full of pink liquid. "And to wash it down." He dumped the entire bottle on Niall's head.
"HARRY!!!!" I screamed and lashed out. "What the fuck did he do to you?" Everybody in the cafeteria turned towards us but I didn't care. I stood up and walked towards Harry. "C'mon Harry, tell me what he did." I looked him in the eyes. When he didn't say anything I reached out and slapped him across the face. The sound of my slap echoed around the entire lunch building and everybody gasped. Harry turned back to me, my hand print etched on the side of his cheek. Liam stared with wide eyes and jogged back to his table.
"Kris, Kris, Kris," he sighed. "You really shouldn't have done that." He tried to grab my waist but I grabbed his arm and twisted it, nearly flipping him on his back.
"Miss Bellmont!" I turned to see Mrs.Loke running towards me. "Mr. Styles! Care to explain what is going on?" She placed her hand on her hip.
"Well, Mrs.Loke" Harry started talking before I could say anything. "I was coming over to talk to Niall here," he grabbed Niall by the back of his neck and you could all but see Niall flinch. " When Kristina started attacking me. See?" He gestured to the still bright red hand print on his cheek.
"Mr.Niall." Mrs.Loke spoke in a softer tone towards him, almost as though he were a child. "Is that true? Did that really happen?" Niall looked up at Harry then at me, his hair still wet.
"No." He whispered and you could see Harry tense up. Mrs.Loke nodded and walked over to Harry and I.
"You two, my room, now." she whispered furiously and walked back towards the doors. Harry shot Niall a look and stormed off.
"Bye, Niall." I told him. He smiled slightly at me. I jogged up to where Mrs.Loke was waiting at the door, Harry by her side.
HARRY'S POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why did she have to get in the way? I looked over at her as we walked down the hallway and noticed that her ears were a bright shade of crimson. Niall was going to get what is coming for him and Kris won't be around to save him this time.
"Next time Kris," I leaned over towards her, keeping my voice to a whisper so Mrs.Loke wouldn't hear me. "If you had minded your own business like a good girl we wouldn't be here right now." She didn't say anything but I knew she had heard me, because her ears flamed back to red. Mrs.Loke stopped in front of us and searched for the keys to her door.
"Inside." she gestured inside her room, flipping on the lights once we walked in. "Miss Bellmont, what made you think you had the right to lay your hand on Mr.Styles?"
"What made ME lay MY fucking hands on HIM? You have got to be kidding me, right?" Kris said, sitting on the edge of Mrs.Loke's desk. "Here's a question for you, Mrs.Loke. What made Harry think he could lay his hands on Niall when he did nothing to him? I will then answer my question when you answer that one." Mrs.Loke turned towards me, her face slightly red. I rose my hands in surrender.
"Mrs.Loke I told you my side of the story so I would like to go back to my lunch so you can talk to Kristina alone." I told Mrs.Loke putting on my best smirk, hoping it would get me off the hook like always. She sighed and pointed to the door.
"Just go, Mr.Styles." I grinned and looked at Kris, her mouth agape. I stepped out the door, glad to get out of there. After looking down both hallways I pulled out my cell phone and clicked Liams' name.
Hey bro! Niall still at the lunch building? -Harry
Nah, he went up to the office. What a bitch. ;) -Liam
I laughed. Of course he would go to the office. He knew what was coming for him. I jogged down the hallway towards the courtyard. I knew exactly who could help me this afternoon.
So sorry it's late. I was at my dad's. This chapter was supposed to be longer, but I'm tired and I have work. Tell me how it's going so far :). I know none of the boys are like this, it's just a story so don't get your panties in a twist.
