When I was younger I am fully aware on how excited I am for my birthday. Having all those celebrations, friends coming over, presents you'll get, cakes and all those things that comes with the concept of birthday party. Who isn't materialistic when they were kids? I think all of us were. But that changed when I was growing older.
When I was 14, I badly wanted to have just a simple family dinner, just the 4 of us, me, my brother, mom and dad. But then they gave me a surprise birthday party where all of my friends were there!
Then finally the following year for my 15th birthday we celebrated at a well-known seafood restaurant (fyi I looooove seafoods).
Sweet sixteen wasn't bad at all, my parents threw a party (again) which I loved. It was a garden setting type and we were wearing boho dresses and flower crowns. And then my seventeenth birthday.
