Chapter 4

Eul was walking in the hallway, busy as he daze inside his thoughts recalling what happened earlier. His lips curved rejecting to forget the chaos. For eul, 'thank you' isn't enough to repay for defending him, he'll be forever be thankful for them. It might be a small thing for them but for eul it's already a big deal for causing trouble for them.

"Nerd!" A harshly snarled by someone. While, eul shivers. It's the voice whom he don't wanted met, after the chaos earlier. Eul calm and steady himself attempting to step forward but his body froze and not listening to his command.

"Hey, nerd!" The voice increases as they slowly approach towards Eul. Eul gaze and lips are shaken, He knew they will do something as an exchange of what happened earlier, Eul shivers down to his spine. Once they're Infront of him, he was freezing inside as his eyes crawl upwards meeting his usual gaze he always used to scares Eul. As always, powerless when it comes to defending himself, He never once did.

"Listen here, nerd" a warned for him as she harshly grabbed his hair. "Not because they keep you safe, doesn't mean they'll be doing that just for you. You're not a special gem, You're just pawn for them. A low-born guy without any status and the most special thing, parentless. You're no different from beggars out there" she taunted him as she smiles sly evily before backing out.

After those harshly words, A mocking and annoyed laughed Eul could heard from them and it won't be stopping anytime from his observation on how the loud laughters are.

When would be the day they'll stop bully him, eul didn't even do anything to them to make they hate him.

One of them, a grin appears on his lips and tightly grip his arms firmly. Now, it's time to do his thing, to torture him in pain; he firstly make sure to give him a hard kicked to his stomach which he succeed. Eul abruptly bend his body after the hard blow kicked in, spilling his own saliva right after, but the torture game hasn't finished yet. A guy rolled his fist into a ball follows it with a punch, resulting his lips to bleed with a bruise on the corner.

Eul is not low born person and parentless even if he's not living with his so called family, but it doesn't mean he's now parentless. They just-. Receiving a punch from someone is not as painful as what his father did. Both physically and mentally. "does it still count as parentless?" Eul abruptly though asking himself. It disturbs him more. Is he parentless child after that day?

"YOU BRATS!!"

A group of people surrounds them, and sky is one of them. The guards used force to lock their wrists together as they dragged them aside, giving space for their young lady.

"Come with me. Let me treat you" sky supports eul on his arms, to be able to stood up for a while as they make their way to a car, Eul knew this car is worth more than his life, even if he puts any hard work, it'll still take few years to be bought by his own money.

Eul has no energy after that, that kicked made his breath unstable as well as his vision which is starting to blur and blacking out. Eul has no worries left, he's already assure that sky will take cares of him onwards.

"How is he, ma?" Sky asked anxiously, waiting for eul to woke up. After sky saw eul lose his consciousness earlier, worried occurs her immediately, It made her restlessly move as she patiently waits her him to woke up. "Nothing's wrong, sky. He just fainted earlier" said by her mother which made him sight in relief. If she didn't make it in time, maybe they're still torturing him till he totally passed out and leave him behind after.

"Now, tell who is he, skyline" her pa, Lian Wang command. His brows are crumble a bit, looking straight to his daughter. It's the first time, his daughter brought someone other than Phayu and Prapai that's why he's a bit furious about this boy.

"He's my classmate, pa" Sky replied honestly. He don't want her pa assumed like eul is her boyfriend or what so ever. Plus, sky already has someone she loves yet she can't brought herself to confess, not today but maybe in near future.

Her father seems not convinced, so sky gaze to her mother. "Hia, do you think our sky is lying?" Her mother convince her father with her mother's special skills. "Who knows. She even brought someone else here, IN HER BEDROOM" He exclaimed. Kuea sight in frustration. "Maybe sky has a reason, right, sky?". Sky nod, strongly agrees with her mother. "Fine. Tell me the reason then"

"Khap, Pa"

>6pm<

"You're awake!" Kuea exclaimed as she dash towards him. "Here's some water" she passes a glass of water to Eul. "Thank you, ma'am" Eul said with tenderness. "No need for formalities, darling. What matter the most is you're finally awake" she smiled. "You should be sorried to sky; you made her worry the most" she whispered the last sentence.

"Excuse me but, what did you call me earlier?" Eul blinked as he tilted his head.

Kuea didn't replied to him instead she just smiled with satisfaction and said, "I won't tell anyone about it" He gesture her hands, as if she was zipping her mouth. "Come and join us for dinner"

>Dinning Room<

"Sorry for intrusion, sir, ma'am" Eul apologizes, eying Sky's parents, lowering his head abit. "Oh, you're not, eul. Go on, seat beside sky" Kuea told eul which he did after.

"So, you're sky's classmate?" Lian started, as if he's interrogating. "Yes, sir" he replied politely. "Uncle will do, right, sky?". Eul gaze at sky which is nodding, "Khap uncle".

"Hia! Don't scares him!" Kuea slapped her husband's arm. "Okay, okay!" Lian raises his hand indicating he given up. "Don't mind him. Let's eat, hm? Oh, eul, don't be shy, eat as much as you can" She told. "I can?" Asked eul, hesitating to do what she told. "Yes, eul. You can"

"T.thank you, auntie, uncle" he coy said.

>After a while<

"Thank you for taking care and letting me to ate with you" a bright smile of eul. "Anytime, eul. If you want to come here just text sky"

"Khap"

"Bye! Eul!" Sky waved
