The Beatles Misadventures: Book 1 {COMPLETED}

#9: John

Imagine hearing the sound of music coming from John's study room. You were sitting on the couch, listening to the wonderful sound of his piano. Then you heard a grunt and the piano go off key. John walked into the room, rubbing his head in frustration.

"Hey love." He said kissing your lips. You smiled, still worried about him. John would always hide his true feelings, just shoving them off of his shoulder like they were nothing.

"Are you okay? You seemed..frustrated?" You asked. John scoffed.

"I just can't write a song! I want war to end! I want there to be peace, but everything is just bloody hell!" He said. You listened to every word. Maybe this time you could help him.

"How would you imagine it?" You asked. John stopped to think, zoning out the world. John never stopped and looked at the world like you did. He finally kissed you saying,

"You're a miracle worker y/n!"

John was in his study room for the rest of the day. You heard a wonderful sound from the piano again, seeing that John has found the right thing to write about.

He came out of his room, a smile crossed his face. You looked up from your book seeing how happy he looked. You've never seen him so happy since your marriage.

"I wanna show you my new song love." He said leading you to his study room. You followed behind him, finding papers scattered with words.

"It's called...Imagine." He said. And that's when the beautiful sound of the piano came right back, filling your ears with joy. Once in awhile, John would look at you.

"Imagine there's no heaven."

"It's easy if you try."

"No hell below us."

"Above us only sky."

You listened very closely to the words, finding it perfect. After John finished playing, his eyes immediately locked with yours.

"So, what did you think?" He said. You smiled, smashing your lips onto his.

"I love it, as much as I love you." You said. John smiled, hugging you.

"I love you too."
