#34: George

"George, you shouldn't be smoking." You say to your best friend George.

George rolled his eyes before blowing the smoke into the air. You hated that George smoked, always have. You cared very much for him, being your long time friend and crush and all.

"Love, I don't know why you worry so much. But just try and relax." He said putting a hand on your lap. You tensed a little, your heart racing.

"George, if you're gonna do this, you're wasting time walking straight into your grave. If you don't stop, you're gonna lose me." You said standing up, walking away.

You didn't even want to look back at this point. You didn't want to think of your life without him. I can't lose him. I can't lose another Beatle.

Hot tears sprung from your eyes as you leaned back on the brick wall, letting the tears fall. You cupped your face in your hands as you sobbed.

"Y/n..." A voice said.

You looked up to see George. Your sadness changed to anger. You clenched your fist, punching George in the face. Your hand throbbed as you ignored the pain.

"Stop killing yourself! Stop this whole thing! I've already lost one of my best friends and I can't lose another! Do you think John would want this?! Do you think I would want this?!" You sob.

George locked his eyes with yours, seeing the tears form in his eyes. Your expression softened as George began to cry.

"I-I know y/n. But I'm only doing this for one reason only." He said wiping the tears away.

You looked down at your shoes, trying to hold yourself together before answering.

"What's that reason?" You say.

"Because I love you. I never want to hurt you." He said pressing his lips to yours as your back hit the wall.

You immediately kissed back as your hands traveled all around. There was a spark you always wanted, now you found it. You pulled away as George smiled.

"I love you too George. Now promise me you'll stop?" You asked.

George chucked before answering. He kissed your temple.

"I promise. Anything for you."
