"YOU LOOK PERFECT, PRINCESS", The handmaiden said, as One handmaiden carefully brushed Daera's long, golden curls, weaving it into an elegant braid that cascaded down her back.

A second handmaiden helped Daera into her gown. The wedding gown was a masterpiece of craftsmanship, designed to reflect the regal heritage of House Targaryen. The gown's primary fabric was a rich, silky white. Intricate embroidery in shimmering gold thread traced the outlines of dragons along the hem and sleeves.

The bodice was adorned with delicate red gemstones, arranged in patterns that mimicked dragon fire, adding a vibrant splash of color that represented the Targaryen's fiery spirit. The neckline was elegantly cut, framed with a subtle gold trim that highlighted the wearer's grace and poise. Flowing from the waist, the skirt billowed out in layers of white and red silk, each layer representing the flames and shadows that were synonymous with the Targaryen legacy.

As Daera stood before the mirror, she took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment settle upon her. Her fair skin glowed with a subtle radiance, a testament to the care and attention of her handmaidens. She was still pissed at Aegon because of what he had done and said a few weeks ago. She was not looking forward to this at all.

"Today is the day," one of the handmaidens said softly, adjusting a delicate golden necklace around Daera's neck. "You will make a beautiful bride, princess."

Daera stayed silent, still deep in her thoughts. Her thoughts were shortly interrupted by her chamber doors opening. Rhaena and Baela had stepped in, causing Daera to let out a quiet sigh.

"Leave us." Baela ordered the handmaidens.

The handmaidens finished their finishing touches, before bowing their heads towards Baela and Rhaena and quickly walking out the room, closing the door behind them. When they were gone, Rhaena and Baela walked up behind Daera, examining the wedding gown that she wore.

"You look beautiful, Daera." Rhaena complimented her, which was rare. They never gave each other compliments or talked for that matter, so hearing that come out Rhaena's mouth was surprising.

Daera eyes darted away from the floor to look at their reflection in the mirror. "Your words are kind, Rhaena." She said, accepting the compliment.

The three stood awkwardly quiet for a moment, before Baela spoke up. "I know we do not see eye to eye, but.. wether we like it or not, we are still sisters. And sisters must support one another."

Daera couldn't help but smile a little bit hearing those words. It was like a reward somehow. Her entire life she went without talking to these two girls, yet, here they were. Daera would turn away from the mirror to finally look at them face to face.

"I must admit that I am not ready," Daera said, her fingers fidgeting with the rings on her other hand as she spoke. "What if this all a mistake? What if I do something wrong or-"

"You must not doubt yourself." Rhaena interrupted her, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Viserys would have never betrothed you to Aegon if it wasn't right."

Daera let Rhaena's words sink in as she really thought about. Would Viserys really never marry her off to Aegon if it wasn't right? As Daera always knew him, he was wise, so maybe Rhaena was right and his decisions were right. Daera nodded her, before she turned back to the mirror, taking in her reflection as she stood in a wedding dress. She never thought it would come to this day, but here she was.
