Adelaide arrived at Karina's apartment. It was small so it wasn't crowded. There's some people smoking outside, others grabbing drinks in the kitchen, and others talking in the living room.

Kari comes up to me and grabs my hand. "Ade you made it! There is someone i'd like you to meet" I immediately knew who she was talking about, Drew.

We got out of the entrance and into the apartment. Since it's small it didn't take me long to find him.

And there he was, in all his glory, Drew Starkey. He was sitting in a sofa with a beer in hand, he looked really good laying there.

When he saw me he stood up at the speed of lighting, smiling, oh god that smile. He gave me a quick hug and introduced himself.

His hands were big and soft and I felt safe in his arms for some weird reason. Kari was besides me watching our interaction and I know she knew how and what I felt.

We were talking the whole night, he told me about his family, about outerbanks and the cast, and he couldn't believe I've never watched the show.

"I can't believe you've never watched the show"

"What can I say, I'm a very busy woman"

It was almost 3:00 am and he offered me a ride home. We found out we actually live really close to each other so I didn't feel like I was bothering him when he offered.

"I'm really glad I met you Drew" At this hour and with al the alcohol in my system, I didn't care what words came out of my mouth.

He looked at me and gave me a soft smile "Are you sure you can get to your apartment by yourself?"

Him coming into my apartment was something I wanted to remember so I said no this time.

"Good luck getting in there then. Have a good night Ade, we'll be seeing each other, don't think you can get rid of me that easily" And he left.
