As she heard the echoes of that distinct Irish accent, Avery squeezed her feet into her knee high boots, embracing the thrill she knew she was going to feel at any given second. Tonight was going to be spent doing her favourite thing, partying. Avery Stones was the definition of a party girl, she would drink herself into insanity just to get a little kick of happiness, even if it meant waking up the next morning with a death-defying headache.
However, every night would end the same, despite Louis or Niall's efforts to put an end to whose bedsheets Avery would end up in that night. By the end of the night, Avery knew she would end up in the arms of a stranger who she couldn't care less about just to masquerade what she truly wanted. By drowning in her own thoughts, Avery was able to drink away her sorrows and become immune to the reality of her desperation for a few hours, which was what she loved to do most.
After reading that news article last night, the blonde couldn't think of anything better than to get lost into the hours of the morning. So she was going to do exactly that.
Proceeding down the stairs, Avery was greeted by her fellow fake blonde, she couldn't help but feel her cheeks rise as she grinned. He handed her a red solo cup, clearly expecting her to take it. As she brought the cup to her lips, Avery felt the overwhelming scent of alcohol bombard her senses.
"Niall, what the fuck is this?" She spat, finding the smell of Niall's concoction disgusting. The lime green mixture swished around in the bottom of the cup, Avery just staring at it whilst waiting for the boy to respond. She hoped that the drink would be nice, eager to get as drunk as possible.
Walking around the kitchen looking for more alcohol, Niall spun on the balls of his feet to answer the girl sitting atop the kitchen counter. "Aves, it's Apple Sourz, chill." His voice was calm, like he was attempting to comfort the girl in a sense. Avery and Niall's friendship was one that you see in movies and hope you are able to find at least once in your lifetime.
When Avery first met the band, Niall was the most welcoming, instantly pulling her into a hug. Through the last two years, their sibling-like bond flourished as they bonded over the same interests and spent countless nights talking about whatever they could think of. It was beautiful, and Avery loved him dearly, she would consider him one of her best friends - after Louis of course. The pair were inseparable, rumours even spreading that they were a couple after being spotted alone together on multiple occasions, yet both of them knew who and what they wanted.
