Billie POV

'Hey I know I came off a little strong but.. could I take you out?' I texted Niah

I texted Niah right after I got out of class. I wanted to give her space, but I couldn't get her off my mind for some reason.

Desi and I "broke up" after I kissed Niah. We have been in an "open" relationship for a year. She hated every time I would have sex with other girls, but didn't want a relationship. Which was absolutely bullshit, but I didn't really want one with her either.

Every time I would try to break things off with her she would act like she was the victim.

So I kissed Niah because I knew I was on my last straw. Also she told me to kiss the prettiest girl in the room so I did.

But when I kissed Niah it felt different in some way. I don't know why or how, but it did.

Niahs POV

Right now I'm at Veah's dorm because she doesn't have class today and I'm bored.

"Oh yea I saw that girl you left with on campus today, and ooh girl is she FINNEE" Veah said as I rolled my eyes.

"Girl ain't you straight plus she ain't all that." I said.

"I mean.. I would go gay for her ANY day. I would not be able to control myself if I was alone with her." Veah said before adding.

"And look at her Instagram she's fine as hell" she said while showing me her Instagram.

I took her phone and scrolled through her posts. I will admit she is fine. A minute or two later I hear my phone ping.

I looked down at my phone and saw that Billie texted me.

"Speak of the devil" I said handing Veah her phone back while showing her the text billie sent me.

"If she's the devil I'll go to hell any day" Veah said while looking at the text.

After a minute Veah realized I was still looking at the text billie sent and said "well are you going to say yes?"

"I don't know probably not." I said
"Girl noo, whyy" Veah said.

"I don't know I just don't feel like getting hurt again."I replied. "Girl that was a whole year ago. Plus you have to start dating again I'm getting worried."Veah said.

"I hooked up with 2 people, and what if she's just like her?" I asked.

Veah looked at me with sadness in her eyes and said "she won't be they are two different people. You gotta give people a chance. Who knows she could be your wife."

I chuckled "yea I guess one date wouldn't hurt." Veah smiled and hugged me.

I texted Billie.

'Sure, why not'

And she almost immediately replied with "okay good. Also make sure to wear a swimsuit under your outfit."

After Billie texted back I looked an Veah and said "if this date ass ima kill you."
