Niah POV

It's now Wednesday a little more than a week later.

I was taking a nap on my couch until I heard a knock on my door.

I got up and wrapped my blanket over my body. I was only wearing my underwear and bra.

As i opened the door I said "Veah why do you keep coming when I-" I stopped when I saw that it wasn't Veah.

"Hi" Billie said softly with a smile. "Oh um I brought you wingstop" she added

I rolled my eyes and said "I mean I'll take the wingstop."

"Niah please, I really wanna talk." Billie said with a sad expression on her face.

"Fine." I said before opening the door more letting her walk in. Before shutting the door behind her.

"What's yours?" I asked as i dug around the bag taking the stuff out.

"It's all for you." She said while trying to make eye contact with me.

"Billie I didn't need an 20 piece, a chicken sandwich, 5 piece tenders, fries, AND corn." I said with an chuckle

"I'm sorry I didn't really know what you liked, I just knew it was your favorite place." She said with a slight smile.

"You want some?" I asked as I ate some fries.

"Nah I'm not hungry." She said with a now nervous look on her face.

"I just wanna say sorry for you lying to you." Billie started

"Yeah why did you lie?" I asked

"I don't know, I couldn't really just say oh I'm sorry I was busy hooking up with some girl."

"Oh y'all-"

"I just don't want to lose you. You're honestly the best thing that has happened to me in a while. I want to have you in my life in anyway. Even if it is in a friend way. Even though I do want more than that. I just cant and don't wanna lose you." Billie said.

All I could say was "woah" with wide eyes.

"Shit I'm sorry if that was a lot" Billie said while fiddling with her rings.

"Billie, it's okay, that was kinda cute." I said before grabbing on to her hand.

"Yeah?" She asked

"Yeah" I said before leaning forward to kiss her cheek.

I grabbed the remote and turned it on Liv and Maddie.

About 2 episodes in there was this episode with Diggy and Maddie talking about their relationship.

Which cause me to think about me and Billie. What are we?

"Niah you good?" Billie asked me causing me to snap out of my thoughts.

"Oh yea"

"What were you thinking about?" Billie asked with a concerned expression.

"About us. Like.. what are we?" I asked

"Oh um what ever you want us to be." She said as she placed her hand on my thigh, while rubbing it with her thumb.

"I mean I don't think I want to just be friends. But I also don't wanna move too fast." I explained

"So friends with benefits?" Billie questioned?

"Sure." I said with a slight smile.

To be honest I wanted a little more than that. But I also don't wanna to move too fast and ruin everything.

"Oh yea Niah"

"Hmm?"

"How was your mom's little family dinner."

"Oh yea it was just to tell us we have a family reunion Friday. So I'm leaving tomorrow morning." I explained.

"Well you don't seem to happy"

"I'm not, I'm not going to go if Veah doesn't agree to go with me. Cause all I know is that I ain't gonna go alone."

"Well if she doesn't wanna go I'll go. I don't have any press or anything this weekend." She added

"Trust me YOU DO NOT wanna go." I chuckled

"I do though, I wanna meet your family. Cmon, You already met mine."

"Fine if you really want to." I said while shaking my head.

Billie took out of her phone from her pocket.

"Wait Niah don't you have to be at work like NOW?" Billie asked

"No I actually quit before I texted you that night."

"Wait why?"she asked

"My coworkers are so messy and annoying."

She just snickered while shaking her head.

"I feel you" Billie said.
