Sera walked into her house and slammed her keys onto the kitchen counter. She rested her hands against the counter and hung her head. The reality of everything that had happened hit her like a brick.
Her mom was dead.
Liam almost died.
Liam was a werewolf now. Well, that is if his body didn't reject the bite. If he did reject the bite... well... he'd be dead too.
Sera wanted to cry. She wanted to scream. But she couldn't, she had to keep it all inside and pretend like her world wasn't falling apart. Like everything she loved wasn't ruined. As her emotions continued to build, Sera could feel herself losing control of her body. And just like that the phoenix was in control again, her eyes blazing like fire. The phoenix created a fire ball in her hand and threw it across the house. Luckily the pheonix had aimed for the fireplace. And just as quick as the pheonix had been in control, it had given Sera control back.
She felt... better now. Like a weight had been lifted off of her shoulders, like her emotions weren't weighing her down anymore. She instinctively flicked her hand and the fire went out. Sera looked down at her hand surprised. She had read in the book Deaton had given her that the pheonix helps you gain full control of your powers, you just have to learn how to control the pheonix. This would be the most difficult part, learning control.
Sera sighed and grabbed her keys once again. She'd promised Scott she'd come over and help him and Stiles with Liam and she wanted to get there before the spastic boy could convince Scott to do another stupid thing today. Mourning would have to wait.

Luckily, Sera had gotten to the McCall house at the same time as Stiles which meant no real damage had been done yet- minus the fact that Scott bit Liam in the first place. Unfortunately, Sera had been wrong about that. When her and Stiles walked into the house Scott was waiting for them.
"Like I said, I told my dad everything I could-" Stiles said after he finished quickly explaining what sheriff Stilinski had found.
"But you didn't tell him about Liam?" Scott asks worriedly.
"You barely told me about Liam! What did you do with him, anyway?" Stiles asks and Sera nods wanting to know the answer to that question as well.
"He's upstairs..." He replies awkwardly. Sera immediately knows something is up.
"Doing what?" Stiles asks before Sera can ask her question.
