saylor sat in her room. her plain room with her plain white walls, the only colour being the mould that had started to grow in the ceiling's corners. her room with the plain brown floorboards, that used to be carpet, but luke ripped it up, saying that was going to replace it with a different colour. he never did. they stayed wood.

jj was still sleeping, and luke was wherever luke was. so, saylor dragged herself out of bed to get herself ready for the day. she had no idea what she'd be doing, but it probably had something to do with following jj and the other pogues around the island, since it was all she ever did, if she wasn't spending her time by herself.

she put on a plain red t-shirt, along with a pair of blue, denim shorts, and then her black boots, which were basically the same as the ones jj had, just way smaller. they were a little worn out, and she'd need some more, soon enough. she was growing, anyhow.

"jj." saylor said, bursting through his bedroom door without a knock as soon as she was dressed. "jj, wake up."

"leave me alone, arsonist." he grumbled, picking up his pillow and moving to the side, covering his head with it.

"get up, you lazy." she said, opening up his closet and pulling out a t-shirt that she knew he'd wear. not like he had very many to choose from. she then threw it at his head.

"go away." he said again, turning the opposite way, making her huff louder, plotting ways to get him up in her head.

"i'm hungry, and i can't make myself food." she huffed, crossing her arms as she sat down on the chair he had in his room.

jj ignored her, meaning that he'd gone back to sleep. she huffed as her stomach grumbled. she knew that jj couldn't cook her anything, especially since there were no groceries in the house. but, she knew that he'd made a hundred bucks yesterday when he was delivering groceries to figure eight for heyward. so, he'd be able to buy her ice cream, even if it was nine am.

so, she hopped up off the chair and jumped up onto his bed, jumping up and down until he opened his eyes. he pushed her knee, making her fly back down onto the mattress, but it didn't take long before she pulled herself back up, continuing to jump.

"i'm hungry. i'm hungry. i'm hungry. i'm hungry." she repeated as she bounced, getting closer to his head with each jump.

"i can't do anything about that." he said, rolling his tired eyes as he laid down, staring at the small blonde that was stood up.

"i heard you have a hundred bucks." she told him, poking his rib as she sat down at the side of him, on her knees.

"who told you that?" he instantly sat up, an annoyed expression on his face. "those rats. i can't have anything to myself. ever."
