The Last Human

The mysterious day

I wakeup from hearing a sound that was my phone who's ringing unstoppably . I picked up my phone

"Heyy Alice Why you take so long to pick my call" that's my friend Lena "ah... Lena why you calling me it's still early I can't even open my eyes"I said.

" take your lazy ass out of your bed did you forget we have history exam today "lena said.

After hearing that I jump off from my bed and started running around my room

" oh no no no I totally forgot about my exam now I'm gonna late" I said.

Then I hang up the call and start getting ready for my exam. Exam that I totally forget about how could I've so dumb. After 15 minutes I started running my ass out .

" It's the third time this week I was late Mrs. Smith gonna be really mad at me."I said.

She's my history professor and she really hates me a lot I don't know why.

" But it's not all my fault the evil manager that I worked for give me so much work not only that I even have to do his work also. After work when I get back to home I had zero energy to move and I doze off"
I said.

While I cursing my manager for being late I saw something is coming Towards us . I stood there and thinking what the hell is that. Then I saw a bright light ,that can make someone blind. I covered my eyes with my hands, second thing I know everything turned into dark. When I opened my eyes I was in a different place. When I started looking for someone there was no one with out me. This place looks like an abandoned city where no one comes. Trees are hanging on the buildings and the grasses are 3 feet tall. The Sky is filled with birds.

"I never see so many bird's in city "
I said.

The air is also fresh in city the air quality is so bad that people's wear masked often but this place feels so alive. Suddenly I heard a sound from the grass I thought some people's are hiding in their with they're cameras and now they gonna say Heyy you pranked say hello into the camera but instead of people a rabbit came from the grass after sawing me the rabbit run off.

"Where am I and why this place looked so weird " I said.

Then I decided to move to see this area. I started walking but I didn't see any human's there only animals are running in here. Then I stopped I saw a familiar thing . When I go closer I saw a shop

"isn't this was the shop I worked for" I said.

After looking closely I realized this was the city I lived in or should I say I used to live in cuz this place look's like it's abandoned for years. How this place end up like this where are everyone else, What happened here. Then a memory hits me there was a thing in the sky coming towards us I saw earlier and then the light and turn into dark. I didn't remember anything else . Did that thing done this everything. I can't stop thinking about what happened to everyone did they alive or die. I didn't realize hot water starts rolling from my eyes to cheeks. The next thing I know I started crying my lungs out. 30 minutes later it's getting dark and that's creeping me out. I'm alone in an empty city , how I'm gonna survive. Then I started moving fast , as fast as I can. Cuz its getting darker and I don't want to be animal's food. Then I saw from a far my building. Then I started to running even faster. I lived in 6th floor after climbing the stairs .I started taking long breath and my legs are shaking. I go to my apartment its locked

" thank god I still had my bag with me" I said.

Then I open my bag and start looking for the keys. I put the key on lock but it's sacked.

"ahh what am I gonna do now "
I said.

Then I started kicking door and surprisingly the door opened then. After going inside I try to locked the door again but it's not working.

"Oops look's like I kicked the door so hard that the door's brooked now"
I said .

So I put a sofa on the door. And then I go to the leaving room and get shocked cuz there was a giant tree hanging in my leaving room.

"holy crap what the hell what a huge tree doing in my leaving room"I said.

Then I go to the bedroom there was some little plants on my room

"ahh I feel so relieved that I didn't have to sleep with a tree tonight"
I said.

Then I went to my bed that was fill with dust I tried to clean but it becomes worst. So I decided to late it be and I'll sleep like this today ,tomorrow I'll think about what to do. And the first day at this weird place end like this.
