Fearless (Isla's Version): Adopted by Taylor Swift

Part 2

~Isla's POV~
"ISLA MARIE BUZBEE!" My mom yells. Great. I'm getting in trouble for nothing. Again. I go downstairs and my mom is holding the belt and my dad is no where to be seen. At that moment, my dad sneaks up behind me and grabs me, holding me tightly. I scream as my mom hits me and my dad's grip tightens. I cry and scream as the pain hits harder. My mom stops hitting me and my dad's grip releases. I try to run back up to my room but, my mom's hand grabs my arm, pinching it to make it red. "Now, you're not going anywhere, brat!" She screams. She turns me around to face her then she lifts her hand and slaps me hard on the cheek.
I jolt awake, my heart pounding, my breathing heavy and tears streaming down my face. "Taylor!" I scream loudly. I hear the door swing open and Taylor standing in the doorway. "What's wrong, sweetheart?" She asks, her voice laced with concern. I let out a small cry, not able to say anything. She walks over to the bed and pulls me on her lap. I bury my head in her chest, staining her shirt with tears. "Shh, shh. It's okay. I've got you. They can't hurt you anymore." She says, softly as she strokes my hair. She then starts humming a melody. I quickly realize it's "Love Story." The tears stop flowing and my breathing goes back to normal as I feel my eyes flutter. Taylor  gets up and lays me back down. I start to feel nervous, thinking she was leaving but instead, she climbs in the bed, wrapping her arms around me. I snuggle close as I start to fall asleep. I move a little, scared of my parents being around me but, I then relax, knowing that Taylor's with me. "Go ahead and sleep, sweetheart. I'll be there when you wake up tomorrow morning." She says softly. I feel my eyes get heavy then I see blackness. I'm now asleep in Taylor Alison Swift's guest bedroom and Taylor Alison Swift's arms.
