"Well Miss Potter, you must take at least 5 core classes and an additional 2 elective classes. These are your options: potions, charms, transfiguration, herbology, history of magic, defence against the dark arts and astronomy. The electives include care of magical creatures, arithmancy, muggle studies, study of ancient runes and divination for 5th years."
"Can I take all the core classes?"
"Yes but you still have to take 2 elective classes. That might be too much considering you've never studied them."
"No I'll be fine. I'd like to take Arithmancy, study of ancient runes and divination as my electives please."
The professors seemed confused. "Miss Potter, you do realise that you will be taking 10 OWLs. That will be a lot of work."
"I'll figure it out." Mila simply smiled at them because it was true, all she had to do was listen or read a book or two.
"Very well then. You will receive your schedule tomorrow morning, School starts then. Tonight is the welcoming feast so be ready." That was when Slytherin chose to walk away.
"Miss Potter, Dumbledore has asked me to accompany you to his office. He mentioned your brother."
Mila whipped her head towards the clock. She hadn't realised that it was already time to go. Before Mila could even full process what was going on, Snape strutted towards the door. Mila scrambled to follow him, abandoning her book on the sofa. She was full of hope – maybe he wouldn't abandon her like Nattie and 'Lena had.
With Snape's fast pace and Mila running to keep up, they made it to Dumbledore's office very quickly. Mila was nervous though and ended up stood in front of the door, her hand went up to knock but stopped hallway. Surprisingly Snape didn't say anything, just stood behind her waiting for her to be ready. After a moment though, he gently nudged her forward, giving her the last bit of confidence she needed.
As she stepped inside, Mila saw a short boy with glasses and medium length, brown hair dressed in mundane clothing. They both stopped whatever conversation as soon as they heard the door open. After a moment of awkward silence, Dumbledore introduced them, "Harry, my boy, this is your twin sister Mila. Mila this is your twin brother Harry."
"Hi," said Mila.
Surprisingly, Harry gave a curt nod in her direction before addressing Dumbledore, "How do you know that that's my sister and not just some fool pretending to be her."
Mila was insulted but said nothing, wanting to hear what Dumbledore had to say, "I know because I was the one who brought her to safety after the attack. She did not even know of the magical world before this summer, just like you before your first year."
Then Harry turned to look at her, his eyes meeting hers for the first time. Again, he didn't address her "Well what house is she in?"
To say Mila was angry was an understatement, so she interrupted Dumbledore, wanting to answer herself, "I am in Slytherin. Stop being so bloody entitled and ask me yourself."
The room went quiet for a second; Dumbledore looked rather amused while Harry looked embarrassed.
"Wait, did you say you were in Slytherin?" asked Harry after he got over the initial shock of his twin not putting up with his attitude.
"Yes, what's wrong with that?"
Harry scoffed before starting his angry rant, "Slytherins are evil. There's not a single dark wizard that hasn't come from Slytherin. You are a disgrace to the Potter name; don't you dare ever call yourself a Potter. For all we know, you could be a spy sent by Voldemort to try and kill me."
